Arrived w/o reservations for a quick dinner before a tour. Read the previous reviews mentioning the separate fryer and GF fish & chips so was looking forward to that. When we were shown our table they asked if there were any allergies, and I said wheat. When I tried ordering the GF fish & chips they said they couldn't guarantee there was no wheat in the GF batter and I should order the baked fish. I tried explaining that if it's GF it's made without wheat and I should be ok. The manager came over and promised to go read the ingredients and verify, but quickly returned that there had been a reserved party of 50+ ppl that arrived and they were all ordering GF so it would be 45 minutes+ before they'd be able to make my food (if they even could) so I'd be better off just ordering the baked fish. Meal was ok, but certainly not something I'd return for. Very disappointed regarding the fish & chips. Ordered a GF dessert that took forever to come out (again, the party ordering dessert was blamed) was meh too. Big points for taking allergies and contamination very seriously, low points for everything else.
