I had their cauliflower pizza crust and it was delicious!
really great food and great for gluten free options
The West Springfield location of Bertucci's hasn't failed me yet with GF dining. The staff--and hosts--are attentive and aware. While the menu isn't deep, the offerings include appetizers and entrees with complex flavors...not the stripped down "order without..." warnings of some competitors.
There is only one dessert...a sophisticated bittersweet chocolate mousse-like pudding...but it never disappoints.
What I like about this Bertucci's is that it feels like a one-off, not a chain, and that is high praise indeed.
Update: October 31, 2013. I hadn't been to Bertucci's for awhile, and checked the GF Menu online. For some reason, the chianti sauce was no longer GF, leaving me a dry seasoned filet mignon as a disappointing choice. The excellent Budino mousse-type dessert was also gone, replaced by another dessert that required omitting the toppings to make it safe. This was a HUGE step backwards. I went to Outback instead. I e-mailed the chef at Bertucci's corporate HQ asking why they had backed away from their terrific old menu, but got no reply.
I haven’t eaten here however I did call to ask about their GF options and how they handle GF orders. The woman on the phone answered that they have a GF sensitive menu although the options “depend on the severity of the allergy, there’s kind of flour getting tossed around everywhere back here”. So I would say it is definitely not safe for those with Celiac.

The service was great and they seemed to do a good job with all of the covid guidelines. I didn’t really look at much on the menu since I wanted pizza. The gf pizza did not disappoint!!!

They have removed most of their gluten free items from their menu. They still have gluten free pizza which is fairly good.

I can’t say for sure but I’m going to guess that the general lack of cleanliness says a lot about how well cross contamination is probably handled.
The only gf options on the lunch menu were soup and pizza. I didn’t feel safe with the pizza and the soup wasn’t anything that I liked. I decided my best option was to just get a drink and eat when I got home (which I have no problem doing). The waitress was well aware that I was not eating because I needed a safe gf meal and yet when she brought the rolls for the rest of my party she brought me a plate for a roll too, “just in case you wanted to have a little” is what I was told. I’m glad I went with my gut and didn’t order any food.
