They have a separate kitchen area in the back (gluten-containing items are made in the front behind the counter).
You can get any of the bagel sandwiches gluten free. The gf bagels and toppings and preparation are completely separate. There were 4 flavors of actual gf bagels today as well.
The shop is in a cute area.

I love eating here! Not only are the bagels amazing, I feel incredibly safe as the owner told me his wife is coeliac so I trust he knows what he’s doing! I often buy some bagels to take home and freeze, and they often have GF cakes on offer too (fab rocky road brownies for example...). The only downside is the cafe itself is quite small so you have to get there early at lunchtimes or be prepared to eat the bagels on the street.

Owner Frank takes real pride in baking the most delicious bagels in the Netherlands. Once week he cleans out his entire kitchen to bake a batch of gf bagels. It is one of the best gf bread we ever tasted, and he is still always trying to improve it. Usually gf bagels are in stock because they freeze them for the none gf days. Toppings are delicious. By far the best lunch in Leiden, both ordinary and gluten free.
