They make their own gf bagels and you can even pick what kind you want! They have a specific day in the week when they make gf bagels and they clean the entire facility before. So the bagels you get are from the freezer. If you ask for gf, they make the bagels at a separate place so there's little chance of cross contamination. Definitely a recommendation!

I had a sweet poppy bagel. The staff explained to me how they avoid cross contamination. The bagel was a bit dry but tasted nice and I felt fine after eating it.

There are four or five different gluten free bagels available. The owner explained that they are made separately from the other bagels and only after the kitchen has been completely cleaned. They are then wrapped, frozen, and stored until ordered. All the toppings are naturally gluten free and cross contamination measures are in place.
I had an everything GF bagel topped with hummus, sprouts, and tomato. It was delicious and one of the better GF bagels that I have eaten. Recommended .

They use only bagels and toppings from the back from a separate area to prepare the gluten free orders. If you turn left when exiting the shop and walk 2-3 min there is beautiful canal with benches where you can eat your bagel with great scenery! I highly recommend! I have celiac and didn’t get sick at all!

As other folks have said, really great tasting bagels. You can choose from 4 types of bagels made by them; plain, poppy seed, everything and cinnamon raisin. With any of their toppings as they are all GF. Really friendly staff too. They also have a really nice message on their GF bagel wrapper (see photos), a real haven for celiacs!

They have several different types of gf bagels and prepare everything in the back so there is no cross contamination. I had a focaccia captures bagel and it was phenomenal. It actually tasted like a bagel! Wish I got two

They have a separate kitchen area in the back (gluten-containing items are made in the front behind the counter).
You can get any of the bagel sandwiches gluten free. The gf bagels and toppings and preparation are completely separate. There were 4 flavors of actual gf bagels today as well.
The shop is in a cute area.

I love eating here! Not only are the bagels amazing, I feel incredibly safe as the owner told me his wife is coeliac so I trust he knows what he’s doing! I often buy some bagels to take home and freeze, and they often have GF cakes on offer too (fab rocky road brownies for example...). The only downside is the cafe itself is quite small so you have to get there early at lunchtimes or be prepared to eat the bagels on the street.

Owner Frank takes real pride in baking the most delicious bagels in the Netherlands. Once week he cleans out his entire kitchen to bake a batch of gf bagels. It is one of the best gf bread we ever tasted, and he is still always trying to improve it. Usually gf bagels are in stock because they freeze them for the none gf days. Toppings are delicious. By far the best lunch in Leiden, both ordinary and gluten free.
