The first question the waiter asked me was if I had any allergies! Very impressed! Everything can be made gluten free and they are clearly very aware of allergies and cross contamination as they have a separate kitchen space! Tasty gluten free bread too!
Had a delicious lunch here. The gluten free food was great for my mother. They had so many options for her from the table bread to beer and very delicious pasta. Anything on there menu can be gluten free Service was great and made sure nothing was cross contaminated. 100% reccomend.
Loved our GF meals!!! Fabulous delicious food. My daughter and I could eat everything served. We both have Celiac and eating out is at times impossible or challenging. One of us gets sick as food is tainted with gluten, but NOT at Bistango!!! Amazing service and they were so very attentive to our dietary needs. My new favorite place in NYC!!!
Phenomenal food, drinks and service. Sterlin was our waitor - he went through the menu to recommend good options, and came back to make different suggestions after confirming options with the chef (he double checked - very impressive). Grilled octopus app was amazing, as was the steak and the pork osso buco. The guava margarita was also great.
Very knowledgeable staff careful to get it right. Excellent GF pizza and pasta a couple of good GF and vegan dessert options. Even has GF and dirt free (vegan) ravioli option. Definitely celiac friendly. Great restaurant where GF and non GF family can share a great meal and all be more than satisfied.
Staff was amazing and had the best gluten free options I’ve ever had! The complimentary gluten free bread was ridiculously good, great pasta options, and every dessert was gluten free as well (I got the flourless chocolate cake which was once again, delicious). Highly recommend for celiacs in the city!!
Yes however the food quality was just mediocre. The pizza 🍕 was comparable to a frozen store bought. More like crepes than a dinner dish. Ravioli was decent. However the calamari was delicious! I would stick with the appetizers. The staff was very nice! Just had higher expectations of the meal
Had dinner here last night, went for the breaded chicken breast parm followed by the maple syrup cheesecake it was delicious. The staff could not have been more helpful and the whole menu is really is gf, lots of choice and I felt safe eating here.
This place is incredible. When I walked in they told me that everything on the menu can be made gluten free. Seriously, everything. Like each thing. All of it. I was so excited it was almost impossible to choose! The gf bread and olive oil to start is great and the ravioli to die for. Will definitely being coming back when I'm in NYC again.
I feel like I can't even do this place justice with a review. Or maybe I feel like I need to adjust all my other 5-star ratings so that this restaurant really stands out and shines. This was--hands down--the BEST gluten fee meal I've had in the five years since going GF. And it certainly rivals other best meals I had before then. I'll admit...I cried. The owner, Anthony, is so genuine and attentive--and after 14 years of offering gluten free options on his menu (most are either GF already or can be made so), he absolutely knows what he's doing. He's sourced some of the best tasting breads and pastas from around NYC and serves them up with delicious accompaniments. I wish I could ditch my work responsibilities this weekend and spend my remaining hours in the city bellied up to the bar in this gem of a restaurant. Don't pass up the bread with oil and garlic. Or the handmade ravioli. And you can't go wrong with any of the desserts, but the berry gelato and the lemon tarte (with its hand-whipped cream dollop) were the perfect way to end a perfect meal. Thank you, Anthony, for being such an amazing host tonight and serving up plates of gluten-free perfection. I'll be back!
