This is a wonderful restaurant, the food is delicious, the staff are rock stars and the atmosphere fun and intimate. My husband and I shared the burrata, carrot and beat soup and braised lamb shank. Each dish was so good I will be thinking of them fondly. At first glance the menu doesn’t seem to be marked gluten free but after closer examination it becomes clear that nearly every item is gluten free. Bizes does bake bread on premise but they must have a handle on not contaminating the other items as I had no trouble. Also the price was much more reasonable than we expected.

Absolutely amazing!! Come here if you're gf. The only possible concern is they make homemade bread so there is possibility of cross contamination (via air/utensils) but easily avoidable if you don't order the bread or the gf crackers because they are stored in the same area. The burrata is one of the best and most unique I've had. The flavors in every dish are really great and everything is homemade!! Staff is very nice and ambience is cozy. 10/10 recommend!

This is the spot to eat at if you’re in Chamonix 😍 truly amazing. They told me everything was gluten free except for the bread.

What an amazing place Lovely food lovely staff and practically everything on menu is Gf!! Even the chocolate fudge cake desert. Anyone needing gf meal in Chamonix should visit this wonderful restaurant.

Had a really nice meal here last week. Almost everything on the menu is GF and they were clearly aware of need to avoid gluten for sufferers. Nice setting by the river. A bit more expensive than some places in Chamonix but much higher quality. Recommended.

Amazing for gluten free and dairy free options!! The menu is clearly marked and only a few things on their menu are not naturally gluten free. They also have vegetarian and vegan options! The staff are very knowledgeable and kind!! Definitely recommend for anyone gluten free, dairy free, or vegetarian!

Excellent restaurant. Beaucoup de choix sans gluten. Une attention particulière afin que tout soit sécuritaire. Il connaisse bien la contamination croisée. Accueil chaleureux. Service impeccable. Très bien localisée. Demander une table près de la rivière.

FYI - You have to have a reservation! Absolutely amazing! I actually had a difficult time deciding what to eat because I could pick almost anything from the menu. The full menu is now marked if things are gluten free, and there was only maybe 2 things that weren't. We decided to try the smoked duck sashimi. It was absolutely delicious! They make seeded crackers in house that are gluten free and taste great. Also got the brussel sprouts and a half serving of the chicken curry, my boyfriend got a steak, and we finished with the lemon custard. I would go back in a heart beat for the duck and the custard!

The previous reviews are a few years old but still accurate! There are gluten free crackers instead of bread, and virtually the entire menu is gluten-free, down to the soy sauce on one of the side dishes. (I think they serve “real” bread to non-celiacs.) One thing I found confusing was that the online menu had only entrées (appetizers) labeled as gluten-free — don’t let that deter you, I think it’s just an oversight. The meal was excellent, highly recommend!

Brilliant food. All but bread is gluten free. Lovely location beside the river Arve.

Entirely gluten free (except for some bread). All 5 of us had a different meal and all were pleased. Very nice to have a dedicated gluten free (nearly) restaurant.

Celiac friendly?

Almost totally GF so really stress free for the Celiac of the group. Interesting GF crackers for starters. Beetroot mousse and grilled goat cheese really flavorful. Partner had super delicious duck breast cooked perfectly. Portabello main dish had interesting ingredients, but could have been cooked a bit more and filling needed to be chopped more, to be more cohesive. Crispy fries were delish-wish we could get those at home. Chicken curry had lots of chicken chunks and a creamy curry sauce.

Delicious meal in a beautiful location right on the water. Pretty much everything on the menu is gluten free. FYI the owner bakes bread with gluten in the same kitchen but it’s baked in a separate oven. None of the dishes are cooked in that oven but she mentioned there could be residual gluten in the air. Also, the pork dish was braised in beer and we only found out once the waitress told us.

Unfortunately they don’t have gf bread any longer. Meal was good but pricey and too avant-garde for my son. Maybe better for an adult meal rather than family dining.

Small place but very nice. The whole menu is gluten free but then they have some gluten bread so you need to ask. They are knowledgeable for other allergies and cross contamination issues. Good place!

A very nice restaurant with a menu with clear gluten free labelling, specialising in grilled meat and fish. Some dairy free options also available. Staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English.
