Ordered takeout over the phone, the staff member we talked to was super friendly and accommodating. She let us know that the sauces and tobiko do contain gluten so we asked for our rolls without. She also called back after we placed our order to let us know that she had double checked all the roll ingredients and found that the crab mix had gluten and asked if we wanted to substitute it with real crab. Really appreciated the effort! Most of the menu is not GF friendly, but if you stick to the nigiri and the simpler rolls (and double check with the staff) there are still some good options.

The staff was not knowledgeable at all and even when I expressed the need to be gluten free several times, they made zero concessions and acted as if it were inconvenient. I would not go back.

I recently tried to order a to-go order over the phone. The girl who answered the telephone was very incompetent - couldn't put in my order or find the things that I was asking for, which were right off their online menu - and she had no idea what celiac is. She finally put someone else on the phone as she could not successfully navigate the menu. This individual did not know what celiac disease was either, but once I explained to him I had a gluten allergy, he was very helpful.
I was very impressed with this restaurant. The food was delicious. The waitress was informed and very helpful. I have celiac and didn't get sick. I am planning to go back.
I was told most menu items were able to be altered to remove gluten sources and wheat free soy sauce available. I didn't feel confident in the server's knowledge regarding gluten issues nor did I feel she took it very seriously. It was ok, but I doubt we will ever return here.

Love it!

They told me they don’t have anything gluten free in their restaurant.

Haven't had any issues there but I usually get veggie rolls. GF soy sauce available and GF menu
Both my wife and I got sick. We were very clear with our server. She assured us that we would be ok. They brought us gluten free soy sauce in an unmarked bottle. Not even sure if it was GF. we both tried each other's rolls. So who knows if it was the soy sauce or the rolls. Blue Nami used to be great with gluten free. they clearly don't take it seriously anymore. We will never eat here or any others again.

Blue Nami used to do very well. Sadly, that is no longer true. The last two times I've been here, the staff no longer seemed comfortable helping us find safe GF options and substitutions. The menu has become less clear. And sadly, I did get cross contamination here yesterday. I will not be going to any of their locations again in the future.
