Full Gluten Free Menu and 4 dedicated fryers for fries and tots. I called in advance and had them email me the gluten free menu and they did. You have to ask for it at the register and she marks your order GF so rhey change gloves. Good food and experience.

The person taking my order was happy to have employees change their gloves and didn’t get that “deer in the headlights” look when I asked about the dedicated fryer for the fries. We had a really good experience.

Blue Sky Texas is not wheat allergy or celiac friendly. My husband called ahead to ask about a dedicated fryer which they said they have. Which ended up not being true. I had chunks of fried chicken nuggets in my french fries. He also inquired about all the ingredients in the hamburgers which they told him was 100% beef. My family of five has a combination of wheat allergies and celiac disease. We ended up having to leave before my children were finished eating because my throat, tongue and lips were swelling. I administered the first step of emergency epinephrine in the restaurant but it didn’t appear to be working as quickly as I needed it to. In the parking lot my 8 year old son became itchy everywhere and began to have a hard time breathing and my 2 year old hands swelled to abnormal size, along with her having hives on her face and neck. After 3 hours we were finally able to get everyone’s allergic reactions to settle down but now 4 of the 5 of us will be miserable for the next 3 to 7 days while our bodies literally attack themselves because we also have celiac disease. If you have allergies or celiac disease don’t eat here.

Food was decent. Girlfriend has celiac and didn't get sick. Staff was not super knowledgeable about celiac and cross contamination. The manager knew a decent amount.

They have not one but three gluten free dedicated fryers! Incredible! I am very new to eating out with celiac and this place was super easy. Not all the staff is knowledgeable but the managers and cooks are. So happy to find a place I’ve eaten for years that is still safe for me even with my new celiac diagnosis. Always a great time here. The only thing to stay away from is anything battered because they don’t prep gluten free batters but if you like plain burgers and fries it’s really good. Cross contact can be kinda worrisome though. Always stay vigilant. I had to sacrifice a few of my fries to my boyfriend since they touched his fries which were not gluten free but beyond that everything is really good. Buns were pretty top notch for a gluten free bread although I have not tried many yet. Highly recommend though it was a comforting and easy experience since I’m new to this. No symptoms afterwards or anything.

My daughter has celiac. She had the gluten free bun and fries with no reaction. They were knowledgeable and asked if she wanted them to change gloves. Very pleased.

The gluten free bun was great! Fries are made in a GF fryer too. I didn't ask about anything thing else. I let them know it was an allergy and didn't have any negative reaction. I will probably come back here every time I visit Lubbock.
