This is my go to sushi place in Omaha. The food is really good and the staff is really careful with my gluten free needs. July 2022 UPDATE August 2023 I will not be returning to this location. My experience today leaves me feeling scared for my health. At the beginning of our service I told my waitress I have celiac‘s and I need to be ordering everything gluten free. My waitress, not list anything I ordered as a gluten-free it turns out. The first part of the order came out with a another dish, so I questioned if it was gluten free. I pressed the food runner to check an he came back and stated yes both items they brought were gluten free. Then the manager came out right after I had taken a bite to tell me no it’s not gluten-free that there is communication issues in their kitchen. How can I feel safe after that. The manager to her Credit did say she would make sure the rest of anything I ordered was gluten-free and talk with my waitress and stress its an actual allergy, a little too late. I chose to leave instead of ordering anything else. I just don’t trust the kitchen anymore.

They have a gluten sensitive menu which is nice to know what rolls are safe! I got the cali roll and a smoked salmon one. They also have gf soy sauce you just have to ask.

They have a separate gluten free menu, the server was knowledgeable (we sat at the bar) and the food was delicious! I had the edamame and Alaska roll. I also tried a bit of my husbands Cali roll. Great atmosphere and amazing food!
*I posted this 24 hours after my visit to be sure I had no gluten symptoms*

Very reliable- never gotten sick here. Gluten free options very clear in online ordering and curbside pickup was very easy. Pretty in Pink and Roja rolls are excellent.

Had a good experience — loved the gluten free soy sauce. I did get a stomach ache a few hours later, but I think it was due to something else? Either way, eating out at any restaurant that’s not exclusively gluten free can be pretty hit or miss. Eat at your own risk
Knowledgeable server, they up charge you for real snow crab if imitation crab is an ingredient in a roll, it is listed on the menu. They have gf soy sauce on the table, the rolls don’t stay together very well which made it difficult to eat. I did have a stomach ache all night- not sure if it was the sushi since it occurred a couple of hours after I finished my meal. I would make sure to ask them if they change their gloves, use a clean cutting board, & knife- that is the only thing I can think of that would have made me sick hours after I ate, if I do eat gluten I get sick immediately.

The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The selection was awesome- we will definitely go back. Celiac friendly

It is safe to eat there but you do need to advocate for yourself if you need extra precautions to prevent cross contamination. They have gf soy sauce and a good selection, but not if you are vegetarian.
I waited for over an hour for my sushi, and that was annoying.
Just finished having dinner there and barely made it out the door before I got awfully sick. They do have a gluten-free menu and even when they warn about possible cross contamination in the share kitchen, they also claim to be "very careful" while handling orders for celiacs. I definitely won't be back and I don't know how it got so many good reviews. Based on how bad I'm feeling right now, I can assure you that food had gluten on it. Don't go if you're a true celiac, is not worth it.

Great gluten free sushi restaurant in Omaha! Menu items are marked on the menu if they're gluten free and there are quite a few options. Just make sure to ask for the gluten-free soy sauce. Great restaurant for those with Celiac Disease!

I have never had a manager come to my table, confirm my allergy and reassure me about my selections. Excellent food, dedicated menu, and I felt VERY taken care of. I highly recommend!
a go-to for me! celiac and dairy free and rarely ever have an issue as long as I tell them ahead of time that I'm gluten free. takes some extra time to prep, but the staff and management are super accommodating.
Where do I begin??? Our server was professional, energetic, friendly and most importantly knowledgeable when it came to my Gluten Free needs. Her recommendations (for myself and niece who in not GF intolerant) were spot on. The food was incredible, the Philadelphia Rolls and poppers were a definite hit. I highly recommend stopping in (pop in during happy hour they have a great selection of sushi and drinks) at half price. Upstairs has a fun laid-back lounge feel. Will definitely return.

This was already my favorite spot and now that I've gone gluten free I'm happy to say it's still my fave! Not only do they have a complete gluten free menu but the staff, servers and manager were so nice and made sure we knew everything was prepared separately to avoid cross contamination. They even had GF soy sauce!

This was my favorite restaurant, and I was devastated when I found out that I was gluten intolerant. I had no clue that sushi had gluten. Today, I found out that Blue not only has a gluten free menu and gfree soy sauce but also a dedicated gluten free cooking space. The manager even came to our table to explain their practices. We usually eat the veggie sushi, but I'm sure everything is amazing. It's the best sushi that I've ever had.
