Review of Bob's Clam Hut

Have been here a half dozen times over last 10 years on our NE trips; always high quality and great tasting gf fried clam strips. Unfortunately we didn't know it had been sold. Traveling 350 miles, we did check the website to make sure still in existence and still showing gf freied clams on their menu before leaving.

Very disappointed after reading menu sign board showing everything available as gf, and website showing same, being told they no longer serve anything gf except the lobster roll. Disappointed, we ordered the gf lobster rolls.

Today's experience nothing like years past. $32.95 for the hot buttered lobster roll, and. according to menu board supposed to come with fries and coleslaw. Was not even warm, no way hot, did not receive any coleslaw, and next to zero trace of butter. Roll and lobster both visibly smaller than previously. Just barely ok.

Order taker recommended we go across bridge to get gf fried clams. After we ate our rolls, we did go get an order to have for later. Dissapointed in new owners lack of responsibility / unwillingness to update the order boards and website - seems like deliberate deceit after so many months with no simple changes to be advertising what they can't deliver. Won't be back.
