All the reviews are 100% accurate! Zero reaction from my meal (double cheese burger & fries). They have tons of options, and as someone else said: don’t let the look freak you out. It’s similar to a 5 Guys type place inside, and kind of has that hole in the wall look outside. You order off a kiosk & don’t talk to anyone to order—you’ll click gluten free bun / fries etc. didn’t see any info on the fried chicken so I guess you would have to ask because it’s not labeled as such. I saw them change gloves several times. You couldn’t tell the meal was gluten free at all—I was so happy & impressed. Don’t think twice, you gotta go here.

We arrived around 7 on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was pretty empty. The staff did not acknowledge us so we had to go get one of them to ask question, but they were friendly.

Everything on the menu is GF except the burritos. The tacos were amazing!! No spice to them, just flavor, but they do provide some hot sauce if you like.

If you want an alcoholic beverage there was ciders, hard kombucha, and wine options!

Just witnessed them putting my gluten free buns on the shared grill top and when I told her that it was no longer gluten free due to cross contamination she argued that it was fine and the chef said it was ok but refused to let me speak to the chef since the chef worked at a different restaurant. Our order was marked celiac also. They were busy but that is not an excuse to not take the normal precautions.

The potato buns can be swapped with gluten free replacements. The food was so good! Everything except for the burritos is gluten free, and the owner has excellent allergen procedures in place. I asked for foil to be put on the counter as much of the food is prepared on a wooden butcher block, and they obliged without a problem. We tried their fried chicken sandwich, a burger, and a rice bowl, all of which were amazing. Definitely a great place to stop!

Our food here was awesome. The chicken was outstanding and the smothered fries were out of this world. If you miss McDonald’s fries, these reminded me a bit of them (but these were so much better!) we actually tried to return here for a second time on our trip but they are closed Wednesdays (which was not noted on their website or phone message, kind of a bummer).

This place was amazing! The fries and fried chicken are fried in a dedicated fryer. The smothered fries were SO good! It’s not often Celiac can have cheese sauce. My burger was great! Smash burger is a family favorite and this was even better!!! The staff/owners were great. Don’t discount this place from what it looks like on the outside. It looked a little sketchy from where we had to park on the street.

The only thing we cannot eat here is the flour tortillas. The fryers are GF. The fried chicken is luscious on the inside and crispy and flavorful on the outside. Get it. And get the ranch to dip it in. The fries are yummy too, especially loaded with cheese sauce, jalapenos and scallions. Yes, please. A couple minor drawbacks: 1. It is a bit pricey. Three adults and a toddler ate for $100, but the peace of mind we wouldn't get sick was worth it. 2. Don't let the appearance from the outside dissuade you. It does look like a Brooklyn bodega, but the inside has seating. It's well-kept and fairly comfortable. 3. The neighborhood is probably a bit sketchy. If I were alone after dark, I wouldn't go. There are signs around the neighborhood that remind residents it's a drug-free zone and there are cameras recording their activities. We dined without incident, but I can see how out of towners may avoid this place because of its location.

Great Food. Great Atmosphere. My celiac girlfriend was able to have her first gluten free fried chicken sandwich. They have a unique selection of ciders. I found a couple that I really like.

The location may confuse you if you’re driving to it. There’s no other restaurants around, mostly other residential houses.

I would eat here more if I lived closer. There were so many things I wanted to try on the menu. And apparently everything besides burritos can be gluten free.
