I definitely got glutened here and it was one of the times I was the most sick after eating out. I told the server about my needs for gluten free and was assured that at this location all the chips were gluten free (he said this location only fyi) and out of the tacos I ordered they could all be made to be gluten free with a 100% corn tortilla. He stated they were very familiar with celiac at this location because many of the customers had dietary restrictions and that the “kitchen knew what to do”. I got the chips and mango salsa and afterwards I noted the menu said the fryer was a shared fryer. I quickly took one of my GlutenEase supplements just in case, which is usually enough to stop any cross contamination issues. I ordered 4 tacos, but one came out with fried potatoes on top so I didn’t eat it. One hour later I was as sick as I’ve ever been. I’m not sure that the chips were actually gluten free or what happened but if you’re celiac I cannot recommend eating here. Or if you do get a plain salad. I noted also on the gluten free tacos they had some soy ingredients, which should have alerted me that they are probably using soy sauce with wheat as well.

Excellent experience. If you ask, they will make sure your food is prepared safely. They understand cross contamination and have proceedures to prevent it from happening. I had a taco, margarita, and these AMAZING cheese balls with a honey chipolte dip that are made from yucca flower. Definitely will be back

Menu clearly marked on what is not gluten free.
Eaten here many times with my sister and SIL - we are all celiac and never had any trouble. Let your server know before ordering and they’ll help you pick out things on the menu. You know the tacos are on corn tortillas because they’re doubled up. Guac and Brazilian cheesy bread is also super good.

I’ve eaten safely at Bomba a number of times. The servers are well-educated on celiac, will always flag my items, and even for things that are usually made in the shared fryer will have them put in the dedicated fryer.

I had eaten here a couple times previously, and they handled my gluten free order just fine. This last visit left me sick the next day, so unfortunately I will probably not be back. The waitress was helpful with my order, and offered gluten free options, but I’m very reactive to cross contamination & it’s not worth the risk if the kitchen can’t handle it. It’s too bad because the food is good
