I wish I could eat here all the time. It is like a religious experience. And I do feel like I should be on my best behavior when I’m there. The staff is very keen on helping you make the best decision for your meal. Majority of items are gluten free and those which are not are marked. Such beautiful rice. Chicken Tikka masala or butter chicken are my go to’s. If I can make room, I get the homemade pistachio ice cream.

Super tasty, albeit crowded and a little chaotic. So many gluten free options that the menu only has the “non” gf options marked. Well worth it

This was previously Bombay House. Same recipes. 95% of the food is gluten free. I have eaten here multiple times and have not gotten sick. Amazing food.

The food was really good and I had no symptoms afterwards. The only reason I’m giving it four is because my server told me he needed a Google review saying he did a good job. It was really awkward when I turned down scanning the QR code for the review page. Not his fault though, his boss made some incentive program.

This was hands-down the BEST gluten free meal I've ever had. So many options on the menu that were gluten free (and/or vegan!). I had Aloo Gobi as an entree which was amazing (cauliflower and veggies with rice), and the Pakora (kind of like a veggie roll thing) as an appetizer. Both were awesome along with the gluten free bread. Who knew Indian food could be so fantastic! Flavorful, didn't get sick at all, great service, amazing selection. Definitely will return to try everything else too! Leftovers were delicious also.
I LOVE it here. Food is always consistently good and everyone is so friendly. Service can be occasionally slow but they always take care of you. Best Indian I’ve had!

Food is always delicious, and so much of the menu is GF that they mark which items have gluten, instead of which are GF.

Tons of gluten-free, dairy-free and veggie options! Everything I tried was delicious. Their menu lists (G) next to items that *contain* gluten. Same thing for dairy (D) and nuts (N). Vegan items are noted with a (V).

So excited I can still eat Indian food at my favorite Indian restaurant!! Ordered the chicken curry and let my server know I had an allergy. No issues! And 95% of the menu is gluten free! I only wish my boyfriend liked Indian food so I could eat here more!

What an amazing experience of eating gluten free food at an Indian restaurant. Indian dishes are traditionally gluten free except the breads but cross contamination and modification of recipes make it impossible to eat great quality Indian food outside of home. But that was until I dined at this beautiful gem of a restaurant. All dishes gluten free and they have a special gluten free Indian bread (roti) for people with celiac. I haven’t eaten that outside home in the last 10 years!!! It doesn’t exist!!! Can’t say enough for this amazing restaurant. Great staff, gooooood people and Oh My God, what delicious food they make. I’ll be back in Salt Lake City just to eat here.

Delicious. Pretty much everything but the naan is GF. PLUS they have GF naan that tastes delicious. Safe. Delicious. Highly recommend.
Superb! Honestly, this was one of the best dinners I have ever eaten, period. The food was unbelievable and this was the first place I have found that has gluten-free flatbread, which was to die for! I am very, very sensitive to traces of gluten and did not have a reaction to this food. They also have a dedicated gluten-free dryer so a great deal of fried food is also safe to eat.
Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this place, but you should make a reservation before going there!

Always safe, always yummy. Alert staff to your allergies and they will take care of things. The bombay lime drink is great and so is the channa roti.

We don't eat Indian food often so I'm not an expert on the authenticity of the food but I can say that it was very good. It didn't taste like something pulled out of the freezer, dumped out of a plastic bag and reheated in the microwave. It was fresh and rich. We ordered the Onion Bhaji appetizer as well as two orders of Channa Roti which is their gluten free flat bread (more like a crepe). I had the Chicken Makhani and my husband had the Malai Kofta which was vegetarian. For dessert we shared Mango Ice Cream and Kheer (rice pudding). The flavors in the desserts were unusual but not unpleasant, they're just new to us. The dinners were a good size and they gave us a LOT of rice which is great because most places really skimp on the rice. We could have fed four people on what we got. Ordering over the phone was easy and the staff were nice and helpful. Our total came to roughly $42 and as I said, was really four meals instead of two. The menu was so clearly marked and there were so many options that I would absolutely eat there again.

I'd have to say that this restaurant is the very best of the best when it comes to gluten-free dining in all of Salt Lake City!
We've tried a few places, but Bombay House makes it easy because their regular menu indicates which items have gluten (only a few things have gluten in them). Most of their entire menu is gluten-free, and yet - they've also managed to come up with a gluten-free naan bread (made from chickpea flour) so that we gluten-free diners can also nosh on some naan bread to scoop up the remnants of wonderful sauces and curries.
Highly recommended!
Very, very good - and a huge selection of gluten-free options on their menu - their regular menu...none of this separate menu thing where they only have just a few gluten-free options.
Even if you're not a spicy kind of person - it won't matter, because you can order your food mild, medium, medium plus, hot or extra-hot. I ordered "medium plus" and it was perfect. I like hot, but not too hot.
Having said that - if you don't like spicy - I'm willing to bet that Bombay House "mild" will work well. It'll be coconut-y, a bit curry-ish, and full of flavour, without being over-the-top spicy.
So, even if you don't think you'd like Indian food - if you're a gluten-free diner, this place is a must-try.
