If you go, be VERY clear about your GF needs and double check to make sure everything on your plate is GF. I have been to several locations and never had a problem, but had a very disappointing experience during Sunday Brunch at this Bonefish Grill. My sister and I both have Celiac. We both ordered from the GF menu and specified that we needed our meal to be gluten free. Both of us got plates with sides that were not gluten free. My sister's plate had toast on it and when we told the waiter he said, "oh, we will just take it off". I told them that I was really surprised that this happened since they are supposed to be certified in the Chef to Table program.

Our server, David, was very well versed with the entire menu, including the gf menu, of what was in each item, how it was prepared and whether or not it was able to be prepared to prevent cross contamination. He also has suggestions of what the kitchen could prepare gf that was not on the menu. He knew his stuff! Both my daughter and I were blown away by the flavors and serving sizes. The manager greeted our table towards the end of our meal, was gracious of our patronage. All in all, the dinners are on the more expensive side but well worth it if you’re celebrating or out for a nice dinner.
Ate here last night, the waiter saw I was looking at a GF menu and addressed it himself. I agree with the previous reviewer the Chilean Sea Bass was really delicious. I had it with the lime, tomato, garlic sauce I wanted to lick the plate clean. Best of all I never got sick
EXTENSIVE - I MEAN 2 PAGE - MENU of strictly Gluten Free choices. From salad to even two choices for dessert. You'll feel normal again. They understand what a person with celiac disease needs to NOT occur with their food prep and make sure no cross-contamination either. Oh and they don't charge extra for the GF items. Well to be honest, a fish place is relatively an easy place to get items naturally GF - but still, some places love to charge extra for the same item - but not here.
As noted, they know what they are doing here. How annoying is it when you order gluten free, say it 10 times, and then they stick the bread right in front of you? That won't happen here. The waiter made a comment to my guest, asking if she would have bread, noting that I couldn't have it. That is rare in waitstaff. By the way, the watermelon martini was amazing...I had the scallops and shrimp with the mashed potato and spinach side. Everything was delightful!
Separate GF menu with plenty of tasty options. Waitress patiently went back to kitchen twice to check that the ingredients on Today’s Specials list were okay, too. Didn’t tell us about kitchen precautions (party of 11 and I forgot to ask in the hubbub). The chef/manager did not deliver the food personally. Only problem was server’s jacket was absolutely filthy and she was carrying clean plates held against her front. Grossed us out and now that I think of it, may well have had gluten on it.
I have eaten at Bonefish Grille for years. We go to this location at least once a month for the last 2 years and I've never ever gotten sick. They always listen to me and treat me very well here. Food is always delicious too!
They have a delicious gluten free menu. The staff was very accommodating. I explained that I have celiac, and asked questions about how the food was prepared. They said they are careful. There is a disclaimer on the menu saying they can’t guarantee no gluten, but the staff was reassuring.
Food was great and they have a gf menu but when I ordered the Cobb salad it came out with croutons mixed in. I pulled the tails off the shrimp before I noticed the croutons. They took the salad to redo it but when they brought it back they obviously put the shrimp back on from the first salad because there were no tails on them.
We would eat here every week if it weren’t for how high the bill ends up being because the drinks are so delicious and it’s easy to drink several. They have a separate gluten free menu so be sure to ask for it and the regular menu so you can see prices. Long waits on the weekends if you don’t have a reservation. Be sure you like the table - we refuse to be seated in the middle and prefer the tables along the perimeter. The tables in the middle feel crowded and lack the ambiance. My favorite is the trout with mango salsa.
I came back and was surprised at the attitude of the waitress. She acted very annoyed and said there is nothing for me to eat here. My family and I were all very confused as I had ate here before and they really tried their best to help make my meal safe
Food is delicious!!! Tons of regular menu items are naturally GF. Separate GF menu makes it easy to identify. Ate there twice in one week!! My 5-year-old Celiac liked the chicken and rice offbthe kids' menu the first time. And the second time she tried the Dynamite Shrimp from the adults' menu (a bit spicy for her, but delicious). Great choices for GF dessert (creme brulee and flourless brownies). Staff seemed very knowledgeable but double-checked whenever we expressed concern. All the non-Celiacs loved our meals!! Service was slow and inconsistent but excusable.
Dined here several times and ordered from the gluten free menu with no issues. (In other words, I never got glutened here) Food is reliably good. Waitstaff and manager usually very reassuring about keeping my meal gluten free. Last time I was there the waiter said he had recently completed gluten free training and was happy I was there so he could put his training to use. Very nice to hear and he did a good job!
