Found this happening little place on this app while on vacation in the Keys. First impression was great....live band playing poolside, folks enjoying cocktails at the outdoor tiki bar and dancing about the pool deck. Patrons can dine either poolside or inside the small diner-type restaurant. The CONCH FRITTERS ARE NOT gluten free as they are fried in the same deep fryer as everything else that is breaded with gluten!! The waitress wasn't too aware of items on the menu that would be safe for one with Celiac Disease and went to ask the chef. I wholeheartedly appreciated her honesty. The chef....an awesome young woman (whom reminds me of P!NK....wish I remembered her name) came to our table to offer a few safe options. Options that she took the time to create herself. She pan fried some potatoes in a clean skillet to go with my freshly caught mahi mahi, which was amazing! Her service and attention was (is) graciously appreciated. She told me to call her directly in advance and she'd make sure to have something safely prepared if we decided to dine there again during our vacation. We will be going back again!! Hubby had fish tacos....(non-Celiac) and loved them. Heard the pizza is excellent, (not gluten free though, damn) Would have given 5 stars if other staff members were at least a little knowledgable about Celiac Disease and offering "gf" items that are NOT gf will cause serious [health] consequences for those who don't ask or aren't educated. (Such as the other reviewers whom ate the deep fried conch fritters!!!!) Celiac friendly??? Easily achievable but this place just needs some staff training, is all. I said yes because of my personal experience.

Gluten free options but everything is fried in the same fryer. So not many options other than salad for celiacs, the salad was tasty and fresh though.

Gluten Free Conch Fritters! This is the restaurant at the newly renovated Skipjack Resort and Marina (formerly Sombrero Resort). We were staying at Skipjack and ate there twice in late Jan 2017. The items marked Gluten Free are primarily listed as "Small Plates", but they were decent size. I had the Conch Fritters - made with Chickpea Flour. They were great. But the highlight for me was the Seafood Ceviche. Normally served with Cuban crackers, they substituted corn tortilla chips. This dish was absolutely delicious and filling.Other GF indicated items include fish dip, grilled octopus, baked ribs, seasoned fries, seared tuna, two salads and a chickpea crepe with roasted garlic tomatoes, arugula and Parmesan-peppercorn cream. Not sure when we'll be back, since this was a special vacation. But I wish them well and hope they last.
