I loved this place. It’s particularly beautiful outside. I had the cheesesteak without bread and fries. GF items are clearly marked on the menu, the server was very knowledgeable, and fries were fried separately. Service was fantastic.

I was hesitant considering other negative celiac reviews, but it was really close to where we were staying so decided to try it. The waitress was very knowledgeable and proactively shared that they have a separate dedicated gf fryer for their fries for gf! We got the gf steak tacos with corn tortillas. No negative reactions. They also have rice as a side for kids which was appreciated. They did have GF pasta too and GF rolls offered for sandwiches. Although a bit pricey everything was good.

There is not much marked gluten free on the menu, although they offer GF roll, I wasn’t sure which sandwiches’ “insides” were safe. I tried to order something modified but the waitress said the chicken already came breaded (so they must not cook all of their items made to order.) It’s a shame because the staff was nice and the ambience was great (who doesn’t like to look at the lake while eating?) Also, prices were pretty high for the quality. Second time here - and WARNING- they had GF crab cakes on their menu, but when we asked to confirm it (since GF crab cakes aren’t common), the waiter came back from the kitchen and said “not today, they’re not GF”. So it’s the whim of the cook as to whether prepare the items GF, even when they’re marked on the menu. I didn’t get anything because I just didn’t feel confident. Beware.

I’m not even fully celiac and I am having a TERRIBLE reaction after eating here. About five minutes after finishing my food I felt my symptoms start to come on. We finished our meals here and then took a trip straight to CVS. I honestly made an account just to tell you to not eat here.

I had the crab cakes with fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes. It was delicious and no issues! Highly recommend the food and cocktails.

I wouldn’t recommend eating here if you have any sort of gluten intolerance. The menu is marked with gluten-free options, reporting that a gluten-free bun option is available. I explained to the waiter that I have an allergy and ensured that the burger “inside” I ordered was gluten-free as well. Upon arrival to the table, my bun did not appear to be gluten-free as it was the exact same bun as a family member’s who did not order the gluten-free option. I asked the employee if this was a gluten-free bun, which he answered with “I don’t think so.” The waiter was apologetic and my meal was remade, but if I had not noticed, I would’ve definitely been sick.

The food isn't bad, but the gluten free options are VERY limited, and there is no dedicated fryer. Offering salmon without the glaze is not the way to a gluten free person's heart (or stomach). The burger is decent, but it's $20 and one can't even get the fries that come with it. I wish they'd offer more tasty GF selections and get a dedicated fryer. If/when they do, I will up the star rating.

I’ve tried various GF options during a few visits. Good selection, the chef was knowledgeable, and I haven’t experienced any problems after eating there.

Waiter Troy knew all about my concerns. He said when he heard celiac they go to extremes and he said they change gloves. He knew that fries were GF but not safe because of the oil. I had the artichoke spinach axe dip. He also said he made a note and told the chef. All the answers I like to hear to feel safe.

Excellent. Great atmosphere on the lake and gluten free offerings. I got the bisque, spinach dip and chicken Caesar with gluten free penne and it was all very good!

A very nice restaurant, with friendly servers... however they need to up their GF game... my daughter got very sick after eating there. She had the Spinach and Artichoke Appetizer marked GF. She also had a cheeseburger on GF bun. Not sure if the tortilla chips were fried or the bun was toasted, but there was definite cross-contamination.

I'm sad to say that we discovered some strands of regular spaghetti mixed in with my celiac daughter's GF pasta. The manager was appropriately mortified and felt awful, and we got a discount on our bill. I feel badly leaving a negative review because they were so nice, but for those who like my daughter are sensitive to cross-contamination, I feel like I need to share our experience. :-(

Great. Items on the menu are labels *GF* they have a gluten free pasta and even beer! dogfish tweason'ale by the bottle that our server Melissa did recommend. We let her know that some people in or party were gluten free and she even suggested substituting any pasta dish with the gf pasta because I didn't care for the "healthy penne" dish that came with gf pasta normally. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The server didn't seemed to get annoyed with any question and answered everything with a smile. I recommend this establishment for any one gluten free or not :)
