Review of Brent's Cafe

I'm diagnosed "Intolerant " but have lived as a celiac for 15 yrs due to the severity of my reactions from cross contamination. You know how hard it is to get gf food especially when traveling. Well don't pass this place up! Due to our travel time we arrived 25 min early for Sunday brunch and waited in anticipation due to all the positive reviews. we watched as the parking lot filled and lines began at both doors. I went straight to the bar where the very nice young lady took the drink order and explained all that is and or could be gf/df. Within 15 min the hostess was already having to tell customers it would now be a 45 min wait as the place was already full. So plan accordingly. The fried chicken sandwich and fries with a very large piece of lemon blueberry bundt cake that melted in my mouth made me want to cry! My husband is always skeptical of gf restaurants because he is not and he was very happy with his chicken fried steak and eggs. We will be coming back through next Sunday and if fate allows we will eat there again as there are so many yummy meals to choose from. Enjoy this little piece of gf heaven!
