Bricks does not say they are celiac safe. Theirs is an environment that has flour in it by its nature. However, if yours is a gluten sensitivity in which you can tolerate small amounts of cross contamination, like mine, I highly recommend. In addition to their GF pizza, they can make any of their sandwiches GF by cooking their GF pizza dough in bread shape (similar to a pita). It is delicious and helps me be able to eat their delicious sandwiches, something I thought I’d never be able to do again.
Just can't help myself but eat the Gluten free from here multiple times a week! Bricks has a lot of salad options that are gluten free, gluten free dough that tastes almost exactly the same as their regular dough, and gf dessert options! Definitely give it a try.
Great Gluten free Pizza! Probably one of the best. They make their own GF pizza dough so its not that premade cardboard crust. They also have have other GF options, cookies, salads and appetizers. They don't offer GF for severe allergies, however if you let them know your allergic they will take extra precautions. They also have a great outdoor patio
While the kitchen isn't a completely gluten free environment, They have a desdelicious gluten free crust available for pizza, gluten free dessert options such as some cookies and ice cream that are gf.
Any pizza on the menu can be made gf for an extra $3. Really good options, and the crust is fantastic. They also knew (and double-checked online) that Peroni beer is gf, because they add an enzyme at the end to remove any remaining gluten. I never knew that, either, and I've been gf after finding out I have gluten allergies more than 5 years ago. Really knowledgeable staff, and great pizza. For reference, their pizzas are about 14". I'm a 6'5" weight lifter, and we had been traveling all day (I was starving). I ate a whole pizza, but I was starting to hurt at the end, just had to finish, because it was so good. I would normally eat half of one of these, maybe with a small salad. Not a single gluten issue, later. Highly recommended, and I wish there was one of these in my home town!
Delicious gluten free crust and you can choose from a wide variety of toppings. The manager showed us the label from their crust, it is imported from Italy and the server used extra pre-cautions when making my family's pizzas.
UPDATE in 2016 - They now use Caputo gluten free flour - ingredients are "GF wheat starch, dextrose, cornstarch, buckwheat, rice starch, vegetable fibers, thickener, guar". I can't do corn - bummed I can't eat here anymore. ORIGINAL 2015 review - I eat mostly Paleo but wanted to find a good "cheat" pizza to eat out with my family. The GF crust is rice and tapioca (NO corn or potato - yeah!). It tasted great. One son and I had the GF pizza and my other son and husband had regular - everyone loved what they had.
We were told at the time of ordering today that their GF pizza is not made on a gluten free safe surface and they no longer cook their pizzas on a pan in the brick oven. So, their GF pizzas could very easily be contaminated. Sadly, we will no longer eat there.
great wood fired pizza [maybe thats why someone thought they were burnt?]. Salads are gf as well but you MUST specify no bread (this is not listed on the menu). some gelatos are also gf. Pizzas range from $14 to $16 and are meant for 1 to 2 according to them (they are 12", I have never finished more than 1/2). I've never had a reaction and we eat there at least once a month. Our bill usually comes to $33 - two pizzas, two salads, and two drinks.
