Welcome to Billy Bricks! We are a family opened and operated independent pizzeria since 2005 with over 6 locations in the Chicago suburbs, with a menu centered around our authentic, 900-degree wood fired oven. Serving hand made Neapolitan & New Haven pizzas, pasta, salads, sandwiches, apps, and desserts!
Our gluten free options are a BIG highlight of our menu. We want to make sure when you choose a place to dine at, they offer gluten free options more than just a salad or burger with no bun. Our commitment extends to those with Celiac or Gluten Intolerance, providing options like gluten-free sandwich bread, deli meat, pizza dough, and toppings with precautions to minimize cross-contamination. We use a separate pizza cutter and a fresh pair of gloves when preparing gluten free items to try to minimize as much cross contamination as we can.
Unlike many other pizza joints, we have our very own in-house made gluten free dough that is NEVER frozen or premade. This dough is also made to order for sandwich bread, turning any of our awesome sandwiches GF. Both our sandwiches and pizza dough has been raved about by our communities as light, flavorful, but hardly tasting like it is in fact gluten free! We choose only the highest quality toppings as well, including avoiding inflammatory seed oils, using only Extra Virgin Olive Oil for superior taste and health benefits, Feingold Food List & Certified Heart Healthy Boar’s Head Meats, and Non-GMO Project Certified custom-made Pastorelli Pizza Sauce!
There is truly something for everyone at Billy Bricks - we hope you’ll join us in the wood fired side.
Great Gluten free Pizza! Probably one of the best. They make their own GF pizza dough so its not that premade cardboard crust. They also have have other GF options, cookies, salads and appetizers. They don't offer GF for severe allergies, however if you let them know your allergic they will take extra precautions. They also have a great outdoor patio
Delicious gluten free crust and you can choose from a wide variety of toppings. The manager showed us the label from their crust, it is imported from Italy and the server used extra pre-cautions when making my family's pizzas.
great wood fired pizza [maybe thats why someone thought they were burnt?]. Salads are gf as well but you MUST specify no bread (this is not listed on the menu). some gelatos are also gf.
Pizzas range from $14 to $16 and are meant for 1 to 2 according to them (they are 12", I have never finished more than 1/2).
I've never had a reaction and we eat there at least once a month. Our bill usually comes to $33 - two pizzas, two salads, and two drinks.
Very overpriced. $20 for a pizza meant for 1 and two drinks. The outter part of the crust was burnt and the inside was undercooked. Wasn't worth the reaction afterwards as well.
No
I asked all the right celiac questions and even though I got all the right answers I still had a reaction.
No
Great gluten free pizza, best I've found. Texture is almost the same as their regular pizza crust.
Normally I wait 24 hours to review a place, but I just threw up twice just about four hours after I’d had their “gluten free” pizza. I checked the receipt and dove in. Surprisingly good. Suspiciously good, but I suspected nothing. That was regular pizza. Someone in the kitchen was trying to be funny. Another week on the toilet. Skip it

Pizza is really good, have a separate area for GF prep. Ordered twice. First time everything but the pepperoni was cleared by my gluten detection dog. Second time everything was cleared. I asked for pepperoni in a separate cup and she cleared it but it looked different than the pepperoni on the first pizza. Staff is very knowledgeable and kind, but be cautious.

Not safe at all! GF Pizza is cooked without any precautionary measures. My girlfriend got sick after we went here. Don’t risk it!

This crust! OMG! I had to slap my hands to keep myself from eating the whole pizza because the crust is that good!
Also, they didn’t up charge me for subbing goat cheese for mozzarella which usually happens. (I cannot have sheep or cows milk) They do have dairy free cheese but I prefer the real thing personally.
Next up, I’ll test out one of the sub sandwiches to see how that bread is but I have high hopes.

Celiacs beware. I’ve eaten here twice and been glutened both times.
