Phenomenal location, service and gluten free meal. I usually stick to Filet but the waiter insisted on the Kona Kanpachi. It was absolutely delicious and probably the best meal I had on the island. Highly recommend treating yourself to this restaurant if on the Big Island. So many GF options and very knowledgeable and caring staff.

Celiac safe! Phenomenal meal, and they went lengths to make sure I was safe! They even gave me a simple cocktail, instead of something mixed because of risk of cross contact at the bar. The food was delicious! Beautiful setting, music - loved it all!

Delicious food with a lot of GF options! I got the duck and lobster bisque soup and tried my husband’s venison. All so good! Great atmosphere and view of the ocean while we ate. They offered some Udi’s GF bread and honey butter to go with our meal, but we brought rolls from the dedicated GF bakery on Oahu. They tasted so good with the butter. Overall great experience!

Outstanding service and food. I got the two appetizers that were salads, the filet mignon, and cream brûlée. The filet isn’t marked as gf because they put fried onion on it, so I got it without it. I felt very safe here and didn’t feel or get sick. The mashed potatoes were sooooo good. It’s more like 5 $ signs though

Beautiful setting, delicious food. Our server was friendly & knowledgeable. Dinner at sunset is spectacular. This is a pricey restaurant but worth it if you’re looking to treat yourself to a memorable night out.
Four stars for the food (maybe 3?), 5 stars for the atmosphere, 4 stars for service, and 5 stars for safety. I’ve eaten here at least 3 times and have never gotten sick (I have celiac disease). Menu clearly marked with GF, but more importantly staff understands the distinction between a diet and celiac disease. Communicates well with the kitchen and “gets it”. Tons of good menu choices. My only celiac related complaint is that their “gluten free bread” appears to be warmed slices of Udi’s. Given how easy it is to make a large batch of GF dough, freeze it and bake it on demand, it was a little bummer. But otherwise everything felt safe and have always felt good afterwards.
If I could waive a wand I’d make the food better. It is sort of par for Big Island resort dinners (a little expensive and pretty bland and hit and miss on the quality and taste). However given the alternatives on the Kohala Coast, I love this place and would highly recommend it to anyone with Celiac.

You truly MUST go to this restaurant if you are on the big island!!! I am gluten, dairy and soy free. The chef and servers were amazingly accommodating and knowledgable. They had gluten free rolls(as told in previous review) which is a rare find! Made my meal to order even though they were very busy! The meal was made separately from all other meals. Dinner was expensive but I never mind spending money on a meal that is of exceptional quality. Not to mention the view, ambiance, service and company was extraordinary! I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is gluten free! And everyone in my party loved the Kona Coffee Creme Brûlée! I couldn't eat it but apparently they had all thoroughly enjoyed it!!!! At the end of the meal, the server brought cookies for everyone else and a fresh strawberry for me so I didn't feel left out!

O m g. Ya'll have to go to this place. They don't have a specific gf menu and but they SO accommodating! I have a gluten and shellfish allergy and I happily indulged on ahi tuna, gf bread, their miso mahi with wasabi potatoes and even had coffee creme brûlée for dessert. It was heaven. Not to mention its location is flawless. It's directly on the water and they have beautiful live music!! This place is a definite win!!! Also if you are super lucky you can see their mana rays swimming around at night!!
