My daughter works here. She saw an employee using gluten contaminated utensils with GF food. The employee said that celiac was just a made up disease. She brought it to managements attention and they shrugged their shoulders. Do not eat here because they do not believe celiac is a disease and refuse to follow safety protocols.
Disappointing after reading the reviews here. Only thing listed on the gf menu were burgers (not all the ones on the main menu) and salads. No sides listed. I had been looking forward to a burger but was hungrier than just a burger. Got a large Cobb salad with chicken instead. Even though they specifically put it in as a gluten allergy, it was delivered with croutons. They brought it back rather quickly, so I assume they lifted the chicken and placed it on a fresh bowl of salad. Luckily no reaction so far, but disappointing and didn’t feel confident eating.
Not sure if we picked a bad day, but they were out of GF buns and said fries are cross-fried so we ended up with a salad and a lettuce-wrapped bun. They brought out the salad decked out in croutons as well, which didn’t leave us confident for the meal. Was really hoping for a burger and fries!
Ordered my burger and explained I needed a gluten free bun— immediately pointed out the friend onions and checked if would like them caramelized instead. Then offered gluten free safe fries. Brought my food out separately and checked in with me throughout. Felt very taken care of and like I could actually relax over my meal. DEFINITELY go here if you have gluten sensitivity or celiacs!
Spoke to our waitress about gluten-free menu, she was able to give us one. I ordered the fries since there were other reviews saying they fried them in a separate fryer. Waitress came back and suggested we not to get the fries because they fry them in the same fryer as the onion rings. Just a heads up, maybe something has changed or they didn’t feel like changing fryers that night. It was a Friday night around 7 pm when we went, it was extremely busy
We are visiting from out of town and figured we’d try this place out based on reviews and location. We were so pleased with everything. The food was awesome! Really great gluten free buns and fries. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be heading back before we leave town!
Had a delicious Turkey burger on a great bun tonight! I called ahead to ask if the turkey burger patty is GF, it is. I prefer Turkey over beef so I ordered one of the GF burger options and subbed the turkey patty. The bun did not fall apart and the fries were delicious!
Went last night before a show for the first time. GF menu is pretty similar to the regular burger menu. Just no starters. I ordered the Garlic Three Cheese burger with fries. The server actually saw that we had GF menus when we sat down and he went to ask about the fryer without us having to ask. He told us it’s a brand new fryer and dedicated to fries.
Burger came out and everything looked so good. GF bun was actually really good. Fries are amazing.
I’d eat here again!
I had a great experience at Bru Burger. They had a separate GF menu with a decent amount of options. But I was sad that the fries weren’t listed, so I asked our waiter why that was. He said they’re prepared in a separate GF fryer, but they’re prepared in the same kitchen as everything else so they can’t 100% say they’re GF. Since I have an intolerance, I was able to order them with no issues! It was a great meal.
