Review of Buon Appetito Restaurant

Excellent Italian food, with many gluten-free options. Nearly all of their pastas can be made with gluten-free penne. I questioned them closely about flour in the sauces; they make everything from scratch, and assured me there was none. In addition to pastas, they have a gluten-free ravioli option, as well as gluten-free risotto. I had about twenty GF pasta dishes to choose from; I had the salmon and tomato cream sauce with penne, which was wonderful. I explained that I had a gluten allergy, and they seemed to take it very seriously. While I do have celiac, I do not have symptoms if I am glutened, so I can't be 100% certain that someone more sensitive wouldn't react. However, from speaking with them, I am about as confident as I can be short of testing the food that it was truly GF. I would definitely call them celiac-friendly, and a very good meal, regardless of whether GF is a concern.
