Review of Burgerville

The person who took my order answered my many questions about allergy protocols, before I decided to order. As his co-worker overheard our exchange he asked from the back “what allergy?” When I said gluten he said okay and gave a thumbs up. I was assured every fried item has its own fryer and cooking surface would be cleaned in addition the usual gloves & clean prep area. I watched the staffer put on new gloves & make my burger (in a lettuce wrap, I’m not a fan of Udi’s buns). Then he proceeded to prep my husband’s glutenful burger. Without changing gloves he then scooped fries and put them in the bag with my husband’s burger. I explained that I needed new fries with new gloves on and in a separate bag; he apologized and quickly did as I asked. The food was tasty. I would eat there again, but only after my usual rigamarole of asking all the questions and because I can watch the food as it’s prepared and packaged.
