Review of Burtons Grill & Bar

We were told that one of the founders of this restaurant has Celiac Disease, which explains a lot about their our great experience. There are only 3 or 4 items on the large menu that can not be made gluten free. They have a separate fryer and take great care to avoid cross contamination in the rest of the kitchen as well. Gluten free food was even delivered by a different server. The food was fantastic. The Buffalo Chicken dip is amazing. We ordered a second. My daughter was able to eat gluten free fried calamari for the first time. She also had a half order of risotto- which was the size of a full serving compared to other restaurants. She was served gluten free rolls for the bread service- a first for us. She also loved the gluten free chocolate torte for desert. She was so happy! She had more food choices here than at any restaurant she has been to since she was diagnosed with Celiac. We are in the area on vacation and we're so impressed by the restaurant, and lengthy list of options, that we plan to go back today before we leave town! I just don't think you can go wrong with this choice!
