Review of Butterfly Belly Asian Cuisine

Mostly Vietnamese and Thai food. It’s early July 2022 and staffing is clearly an issue. Our waiter let us know the food takes at least 40 minutes from the time we ordered. He let us know which dishes take longer and we avoided them. (Sadness — I really wanted to have the whole grilled calamari and Lemon Grass Hue.) instead we had Egg Roll Wraps, Pho Ty Eight (48hour broth!) and Pad Thai plus Saigon Lime Soda with orange peels.

While Butterfly Belly does have outdoor dining, no diners were outside and serving them would have been challenging given the shortage of staff.

Right after we ordered a local jazz trio came in— just lovely!
