So delicious and the staff were knowledgeable. They told me there was a small risk of contamination but I ordered a naturally gluten free dish and it was totally fine.

If you have Celiac disease or are really sensitive to gluten, be sure to let your waiter know. There are a lot of GF options labeled on the menu, but some of the items are likely to be cross contaminated due to a shared grill. I was told that the veggies and anything fried are likely to be cross contaminated. The manager was really helpful and pointed out the items that would be safest without cross contamination. I got the “yo soy mucho” bowl and I did not have any reactions!

Had a lovely GF meal here while visiting my non-GF, mostly Vegan daughter. Wonderful menu options and super upbeat staff. A bit pricey but highly recommended.

Food was fantastic! Had a gluten free cinnamon roll and gluten free pancakes. All were so delicious and moist. Very accommodating to allergies, don’t need to ask for any modifications!

Delicious food! My daughter has Celiac Disease and was so happy she could get a muffin and a cinnamon roll. And those cinnamon rolls are really really good!

Almost everything on the menu is GF or can be made GF. I had the smashed potatoes & cinnamon roll, which were delicious. Staff is knowledgeable & supportive of food allergies. Highly recommend.

Vegan cafe withy many GF items. Delicious Acai bowl with almond butter and cacao nibs for breakfast. Also picked up a GF cinnamon roll to go. Be sure to avoid anything with Tempeh.
Ask to see the allergy iPad menu. The manager personally comes out to go over your order and talks to the kitchen

Not safe for Celiac! I used to eat here - when I went recently they told me they couldn’t comfortably serve Celiac clients.

Very good! Everything is Vegan as well so my meat eating husband wasn't thrilled but still good food! Had breakfast tacos and pancakes!
NOT Celiac friendly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The restaurant itself warns to not visit if you have ANY food allergies. So beware! While the food is good (or it was a few years ago when I went), this was a FAD thing they used to offer. This app needs to focus on only Celiac-friendly places. If there's a threat of gluten, it's not gluten free

Came here for brealfast..ordered the short stack of GF pancakes which were really good with fresh fruit. Also ordered the avocado sandwhich on GF bread which was ok and the choc. banana bread which was good. Did not feel glutened and the service was wonderful!

Great organic and vegan food. Most the menu is gf. As a celiac we are always at risk for gluten in a facility that has some gluten items served. But, due to the many unique raw nutritious items, I consider it very low risk. My daughter and I are both celiac and we thoroughly enjoyed are meals without complications.

Not Celiac safe. Beware of vegan reviewers here who do gluten free as a fad diet and aren't celiac.

Love their pancakes and cashew whipped cream! So many yummy options!
The extensive selection of vegan + gluten free desserts had me sold the minute I walked in the door! :) I ordered the pancakes, which were amazing! I ate every last bite! Fruit was extremely fresh and the cashew whipped cream was wonderful! I also had the Opulent (digestion aid drink), and I loved it! My boyfriend had the crepe, which he enjoyed. The crepe shell was hard, not soft, but he said it was good (not sure, but we think it was gluten free)! The fruit was fresh and the coconut milk yogurt and cinnamon glaze inside was delectable! I also purchased some treats to go. Staff were friendly and attentive. I will return!
They advise not to dine there if very sensitive to gluten

Very yummy food-don't let the vegan thing throw you everything is so flavorful you don't miss it. It was great having so many GF options
Café Gratitude started in the bay area, and started up their second southern California location in Venice. They have a very friendly and spiritual vibe, where your server asks you a very thought-provoking question of the day. They offer a traditional eat-in restaurant experience, although they also have a convenient to-go area on the side. Their restaurant is entirely vegan and mostly organic, and they accommodate most allergy restricted diets. However, since most of their dishes contain nuts, they advise against dining with them if you have severe nut allergies.
My favorite dishes are "I am Comforted" as a starter (baked sweet potatoes), "I am Mahalo" (Hawaiian pizza) or "I am Fulfilled" (large salad) for my entrées, and "I am Irresistable" (chocolate and coconut pie) for dessert. Their "I am Grace" smoothie is wonderful too.
They claim that all of their menu items are gluten free with the exception of their breads. I did call to verify that all of the soy sauces they use are gluten free too. (Some raw vegan places like to use Nama Shoyu, which is not gluten free, but they assured me that they used a wheat free tamari sauce.)
