Despite some menu items being marked GF a salad with chicken came with a biscuit on top and the chicken was marinated in standard soy sauce. Celiacs should consider California Dreaming a nightmare.
GF is marked on the menu. The only GF foods are the more expensive items, steak, ribs. ect. Tacos and nachos are not GF. There are a few salad options. I ate here a few times before I was diagnosed. The food is not great, not many seafood options.
Specific GF menu with a lot of different options.
Server, while very good at waiting on us, was clueless about cross contamination. During Covid GF options are limited to few entrees. So if you want more than an average salad. Skip this.

This restaurant has gluten free items labeled on their main table menu which I love. I did have to send the salad back because of the croissant and my husband was very clear about why they needed to remake. Food was pretty good, but not very many gluten free choices. I had the marinated steak. No other issues. Nice atmosphere.

Main menu is labeled if items are GF or not. They have a good selection and staff was very familiar with options. We’ve been coming to California Dreaming when in the are for over 20 years so was excited to find that they had GF options.
Our waitress was knowledgeable. GF options were marked. Not a lot of choices but enjoyed a nice fillet mignon. No reaction 🙏🏼

Manager seemed to know that most everything was unsafe for celiacs, but our waiter was confused whether chicken wings bakes or fried and initially gave bad info that he then corrected. In the end I didn't trust that even the few items marked gluten free actually were. I had a house salad and was fine - they did change gloves in kitchen and manager brought out - would NOT be my first choice but at least there was awareness
