This place is alright for persons with Celiac Disease based on my Sep 2023 experience.
I had the street tacos.
I explained my situation to the server.
She understood and ensured me the street tacos should be safe.
I did not have a reaction after eating here.
They do not guarantee a completely safe cross contact food prep environment.
However, they appear to understand the gluten intolerance and Celiac Disease situations.
Server was clueless, but immediately asked the chef, Tito, who was amazing. A lot of the meat items came from packaged items they could not verify, but he knew exactly what he was confident in what would be safe, the bartender was great also, and even washed her hands as the food was coming into the window, and the kitchen asked if she could wash her hands. They prepared on a clean pan, and did not get sick.
One staff member I talked to had no idea what gluten was, but he immediately went to get someone who did. Otherwise, best tacos I’ve ever had!!!
The staff was very knowledgeable about what items were gluten free and which would contain a trace amount of gluten. The majority of their street tacos are gluten free and they even had gluten free brews.
