They do have items marked gf but be aware that some of them are in a shared fryer. The French fries are also tossed in the same bowl as gluten items. Other than that, the food is great and there are many celiac-safe options!

Very accommodating, celiac safe not just gluten free! Kitchen made their prep area safe and seemed very informed. Presentation and flavors were good, will be coming back.

We stopped in for later brunch on Sunday after the rush and had a great first visit. Our server worked with the kitchen to identify which items could be made Celiac-safe and not just GF. They said no fried things, but items like the cold seafood items either were safe or could be made safe (ex: sub extra veggies for the saltines with the crab dip), the salad was fine without the quinoa, and warm items could be prepared in their own pan. I ordered the shrimp cocktail wraps and warm squash dish. Both were outstanding and really fun to eat.

We didn’t try any cocktails or coffee but it all looked great at the table next to us. Overall amazing service, great food, and no reaction afterward. We’ll definitely be back.

Canard is a haven of delicious food with a comforting ambiance. A mix of impeccable food and drink with whimsical nostalgia (ice cream sundaes and fries), it’s a new gem in Oregon City. Though there are a lot of items listed GF there are only a few safe for those with celiac so make sure to ask the server if that’s you. They are very helpful in steering you in the right direction. I had the chicken under a brick entree, hot fudge sundae, and son of a bijou cocktail (a warm alternative to a hot toddy!).
