Wonderful! Staff is so welcoming, food is great! Best cinnamon rolls, dulce de leche cake, delicious pizza...and everything is gf! Plus you can enjoy a glass of wine or gf beer with your meal! Great! I live off the west island; it takes us an hour to get there with traffic; but for amazing food and great service, it's worth it!

This was my favorite meal we had while visiting Montreal. It is a very charming, 100% GF cafe with wonderful staff. Our family had the Asada sandwich, lasagna, pizza, and quiche. Nice to have an option for a hot meal and tea/coffees. For dessert we shared the lime tart and tiramisu! Amazing food and service!

I was in heaven as soon as I walked in! I'm celiac and it was the first time walking into a place that is gluten-free certified and in which I could have anything I wanted. The food is delicious. They even have lots of lactose free options. The people working there are so warm, friendly and welcoming.

We had the most incredible dinner at Cantine Panella, a cozy Italian restaurant that was delicious and inviting. The entire restaurant is GF so you can relax and enjoy a wonderful meal. Lovely environment with large windows that fully open to the street so it feels like you are eating el fresco. Family style restaurant with a welcoming staff and a warm friendly owner. We had such an incredible night, from the food to the atmosphere and people. Loved it!! We ordered pizzas and lasagna and tiramisu for dessert! Everything was delicious and we are already planning our next trip to Montreal so we can revisit this wonderful restaurant!!! Thank you for an incredible night!

Amazing service. Fully gluten free bakery. Delicious breads and sweet treats. Menu du jour, pizzas and take away items. Probably the best gluten free bakery I have tried. Owner even gives samples of the bread to taste test before buying. Eat in or outside on terrace or take away.

Joli resto avec terrasse Tout le menu est sans gluten et certifié On peut en plus acheter des produits de la boulangerie et en apporter quelqu'un à la maison. J'ai bien aimé le chausson aux pommes. Literally unbelievable. It’s possible I’d never eaten good food before coming here. I had quiche, focaccia, spring rolls, and a Caracola pastry. This place is dedicated gf and has a “meal of the day” made by their chef. Check Instagram for that. It also has pizza, bread, lasagna and other meal type items. Must visit!

This cafe has exceptional gluten free breads and baked goods. The lasagna and eggplant was also delicious as was the breaded chicken sandwich special. The roll on the sandwich was the best I’ve had for GF. Very friendly staff and dedicated GF kitchen. Highly, highly recommended!

L'attention, la nourriture, l'ambiance, tout est 100% sans gluten. Et quelque chose sans lactose. Parmi les propriétaires se trouve le cuisinier, qui a reçu un diagnostic de maladie coeliaque il y a environ 8 ans. Ils proposent des pains fabriqués à partir de différentes céréales américaines.

Et maintenant, la terrasse sera ouverte pour profiter de la chaleur (qui aime, ce qui n'est pas mon cas😁😁)

Amazing discovery! The staff is extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and proud of their products. I enjoyed a delicious espresso and was offered a sample of every single type of bread (at least 10) they had available to help me make my choice. They have delicious desserts, tiramisu, alfajores, peach danish, the list goes on. They also have lots of savoury items (pizza, quiche, etc), prepared frozen meals, and imported pastas and cookies 😋. They have a nice selection of wine as well.

Last but not least they also make handmade stuff pasta, which is a real treat!

I could go on and on…. I’ll definitely make this one of my go-to places for gluten-free groceries (they also have lactose-free, Paleo options).

Wonderful, friendly service. Given tasters of many different breads they make on site. So many options to choose from.

Today I went to explore and for take-out but I will definitely return for a meal another day. They post a weekly menu on Instagram.

I was visiting from New York and made sure to try Cantine Panella after discovering them on Instagram. This place was definitely a highlight of my trip. The owners, Alessandra and Benjamin, are so kind and welcoming. I have celiac disease and was very excited to be able to eat everything in this restaurant... And drink a GF beer! We ordered many more dishes than we could finish and took a sandwich and desserts to go. Everything we ate was delicious and we will definitely be back.

P.S. Conveniently located just a short walk from the Metro.
