No longer safe, sadly. The noodles have changed and I ended up very very sick; usually I have no problems after eating here.

Seemed knowledgeable, but... After letting my server know that I had Celiac and a dairy allergy, he acted as though he knew what to do. I had a very good GF pasta dish, but soon after I realized something was wrong. I'm sure it was cross contamination, but that doesn't help make me feel better. So for days. I'm swollen, have a migraine and the worst stomach pain you can imagine.
They do have there gluten free food clearly marked on menu. I was a little concerned cause I ordered a salad for an appetizer and said no croutons. It came with croutons. They exchanged it with no issues but that doesn't inspire alot of confidence. After eating my food I was okay. I would try this place again.
Yes
I ordered one of their newer dishes with GF pasta. I also had the GF soup option which was really good and a sweet tea. When my pasta came out, it looked delicious. I mixed it up and took a couple bites and realized it didn't taste right. it was then my waiter came running back saying that they mixed up the pasta and that wasn't GF pasta. They did remake my meal with the GF pasta but that's not going to fix the fact that I ingested some of the regular pasta noodles. They didn't discount my meal or anything for their mix up. Don't think I'm going to risk going back even though they claim to take food allergies/sensitivities seriously. Edit: 05/02/16 I put in a complaint to the Carrabba's website and the owner promptly called me. He's going to figure out where the mix up occurred and find a way to prevent this from occuring again. He's also going to refund my meal back onto my debt card. He's also invited me back to speak directly with him or his assistant about the issue, how to prevent it, and provide a safe meal.

Gluten free menu & understanding staff- food was delicious!
I came here 3 times, and was very pleased with the service, food, and gluten awareness. On my fourth visit I found a noodle on my plate after I had already eaten half of my food. The manager comped my meal, but as a celiac, it won't make up for the misery I expect tonight and the rest of the week. They claim to take food allergies "very seriously", but this experience leads me to believe otherwise. Again, great food, but maybe think twice if you are a true celiac or very sensitive.
dedicated gf menu and very knowledgeable staff

I've eaten here many times and feel safe enough.
I always ask for Shavon as our server. Shavon is one of the best servers anywhere! She's worked at this Carrabbas since it opened maybe 14 years ago. She is very familiar with celiac disease and is on top of it for taking care of the customer. For example, when she rings in my food, she puts the "gluten free" note like 6 times! She will also bring us our soups herself as another precaution.
Recently they changed their type of gluten-free pasta here and it's a bowtie pasta that cooks much better than the previous pasta.
A side of alfredo sauce doesn't cost extra. I sometimes ask for this for my broccoli.

Just ate here a few days ago. Very disappointed. When my plate arrived there was hardly any pasta on the plate. Maybe a quarter cup? Not cool when the entree is $24.99 for chicken. I should have said something but we waited so long for our food I didn’t want to hold up the rest of my party. They also changed the gf pasta to bowties. The other gf pasta was much better in my opinion. In addition, we watched the cook wash off the grill with pasta water. Ugh! Not sure I want to go back.

Carrabbas was one of my favorite places to eat before my celiac diagnosis. I was so excited to find out that many items on their menu are labeled gluten free. Even my favorite menu items! They did sub in gluten free pasta with their Alfredo for me and the pasta was over cooked and pasta sauce was incredibly bland BUT honestly I have never gone there for their pasta. I lean towards their steak and chicken dishes.
