Pre-booked for dinner at this busy restaurant and enjoyed the wide range of GF options. The staff seemed knowledgeable and the food was good.
We booked the day before and got a 6:30pm table slot. The restaurant was busy when we arrived and thankfully on this occasion we managed to get a seat even though we were a bit early. I led with the fact I was Coeliac and was informed your wife was too - music to my ears! It meant I did not have to explain a thing and felt quite safe. I had the GF bruschetta for starters - I haven’t had that since pre diagnosis so that was a real treat for me. It was delicious. OH enjoyed his prawn starter too! We both had pizzas, pepperoni and then the GF Rustica. Honestly I think it is the nicest pizza I have had since diagnosis. The staff were lovely and friendly and attentive. The place was busy and the service was prompt and hassle free. The food was absolutely delicious and we will most definitely be back. Thank you so much for the lovely food and the feeling of being safe as a coelaic.

Casa Bella is a great place to eat with your family and friends. The GF menu is extensive and the staff are very knowledgable and understanding. GF pizza’s come in a standard (adult) size but any leftovers is willingly boxed up to take home. They are careful with their disclaimer (‘Every effort is made to avoid cross contamination but cannot be guaranteed’) and are reassuring with their comprehensive answers to questions eg GF pizza’s are cooked on different baking trays etc. My coeliac daughter thoroughly enjoyed her GF margarita pizza and we have had no adverse reaction! Also, there is an ice cream counter. All of the ice creams are GF and to avoid cross contamination the standard procedure is to open a new tray of the flavour, use a clean spatula and serve in a tub. Very reassuring and helpful. Would highly recommend!
Loads of choices, every pizza and pasta can be gluten free. Home made gf sticky toffee pudding is delicious!
Clear menu and lots of options both pasta, pizza and dessert. Likely that pizza is not fully cross-contamination free due to oven being shared with normal pizza
We had a great experience. Nearly everything on the menu can be made gluten free. I even had to double check that the garlic pizza bread was gluten free as it tasted too good to be true!
A fantastic night out. Staff knew lots about how to prepare food safely for us ( 2 of family are coeliac). Booked in advance ( some people had to be turned away so would recommend you book) Prawns were amazing as starter. Spinach and mushroom pasta was great. Son had ‘ best gf pizza I’ve ever had’. Portions were substantial ( ie had no room for gf sticky toffee pudding….) Would def recommend. Staff are super nice too :)
Excellent GF menu. All pasta sauces gluten free. Pizza bases also available and a range of other dishes. Also delicious gelato!
Ordered pizza to collect and it was ready in 10 minutes. Really really nice gluten free pizza, very crispy cheese which you don’t usually get. No problems after eating it either :)
Ate lunch. Coeliac son had ham and mushroom gluten free pizza on children’s menu. I tasted a bit and it tasted no different to regular gluten pizza. We weren’t charged any extra for his meal even though there is an extra charge for an adult sized gluten free base. Would return if back in Keswick.
Brilliant service, the owner came over and answered all my questions RE cross contamination. The pizzas are cooked on a foil tray that is then disposed of after use. They explained every effort went into stopping CC with prepping in a separate part of the kitchen but couldn't guarantee which is understandable.
GF pasta is also on the menu and the ice cream is incredible
Only downside is the extra cost incurred for having a GF pizza base
A lovely Italian restaurant and gellateria. All pizzas can be made on gluten free base. Other gluten free options too including risotto. The ice cream was amazing ! Gluten free items marked on the menu
