I’ve been there 4 times and was glutened 3 times. The staff is friendly, but not at all educated about allergies and do not communicate with each other.

i called ahead and let them know i had celiacs and they were able to talk to me about options on the menu/cross contamination protocols! i got beans+rice bowl which is not marked GF, but they said the only item with gluten is the fried tortilla on top (which they did not serve me). the assured me my meat was cooked in a separate pan+cross contamination procedures were being used! they do NOT have a separate fryer but brought me baked tortilla chips without me even asking!

Good gluten free options. Server told me chips were now fried in a separate fryer. Had no issues here. Had chips with salsa and guacamole and Al Pastor tacos! Good drinks and good food

Do NOT GO HERE. ASKED FOR GLUTEN FREE CHIPS and then brought regular and caught it, then they came back with gluten free. THEN was given my tacos and one was a flour tortilla and I unknowingly took a bite and noticed right away. Unsafe and unfair

Ordered enchiladas and they were delicious! They have a fair amount of GF options. I recommend this place if you’re in the area.

Head chef has an allergy. She came out and talked to us about options, knew about cross contamination from fryer oils, and made some menu adjustments for us. Very friendly and allergy attentive staff. Highly recommend. they will bake corn tortilla chips for you as.opposed to frying.

Menu Items marked if containing gluten. Had Tamales - excellent. Cadillac Margherita was superb. We experienced prompt service and server marked order as gluten-sensitive. EASILY much better than the usual mediocre Mexican fair in RVA.

House salsa is off the charts HOT !!! We came in at 4:00 on a Friday afternoon after walking the canal walk and had to ask if there was anyone working because all ten of the servers were watching the soccer game. Went to the bar and ordered everything. Margaritas were good but served in a hi-ball glass!! Better take care of Stephanie the bartender because she's the only one working!!! Food was A V. E R A G E!!!

Good food. Knowledgable staff. They don't have a dedicated fryer so they substituted grilled tortillas for chips. Excellent location on the canal.
