Even though the server was new, she checked on ingredients for my other food sensitivities and advised me well. She also made good menu suggestions to my dining partners. Another member of the staff thought to bring me a plate of cucumbers to dip in the tasty GF hummus. (I was using my own GF crackers.) I enjoyed the shrimp and corn, too. (Still feeling fine four hours later.)

Wonderful restaurant. Knowledgeable staff. Gluten free items are clearly marked on the menu. I’d go again if I return to DC.

I wasn't sure after reading that they no longer had a GF menu, but when I stopped in I was excited to hear that they did! Very knowledgeable staff and great food. I'd go back again!

No longer has a gluten free menu. No dedicated fryer and everything is cooked on the same grill. Everything is at risk for cross contamination.

Very good. Very accommodating, but ask the manager to help. Sometimes the staff gets confused. Excellent food and safe if you make sure. I think that's pretty standard for everywhere. The food is worth asking for the manager!

Cabs has a lot of gluten free options but the staff has inconsistent levels of awareness about gluten free options at the restaurant. The menu marks if something is GF or if can be prepared gluten free. One waiter told me the pita bread was gluten free but it definitely is not, trust your instincts and if you are in doubt then ask another waiter or host if you feel uncomfortable! The food is great and they are very accommodating. They were happy to sub out pita for veggies when you order hummus.

Extremely sensitive to my needs. Food is out of this world!!

Does not prevent cross contamination through common sense or practice. Brings gluten containing food over gluten free food, increasing chances of cross contamination.

Got a grain bowl (can’t guarantee cross contamination safe with greens) and looked at the allergen info online for what was gluten and dairy free. Still had a wide variety to choose from. I’ve eaten here many times and have never gotten sick. Make sure to tell the server that you’re gluten free and ask them to change gloves.

I had a great experience here. I couldn’t participate in the all you can eat brunch, but as a celiac you take what you can get. The waiter informed me of the ala carte menu items I could have and I was able to order shrimp and grits and an app! Would go back for sure and service was great.
