We were impressed with the quality of food and service. Our server had a relative with celiac so she knew exactly how food should be prepared. She told us everyone that she served that night was gluten free so clearly they are trusted.

One of my favorite Riverwest or Milwaukee restaurants! Have been eating here for years and never had any issues with the food or service.

A neighborhood gem! Lots of GF options, had scallops with prosciutto and pea puree as our app and then ordered GF garlic bread as a treat...baguette was good! And imagine my surprise when I found out the lasagna is made with GF noodles. Very tasty and no issues. Will definitely go back next time we are visiting Milwaukee!

This place was amazing. There were so many gluten free options, and the kitchen was very knowledgable. All pasta ingredients are gluten free, so any dish is available gf as long as made with gluten free pasta. Appetizers, pizza, and desserts available as well.

Incredible food, incredible service. I have celiacs, and the gluten free food was simply delightful. Waitress was incredibly attentive and offered recommendations, made sure we were comfortable. When I left, I forgot my favorite scarf in the restaurant, and a waiter ran out into the 3 degree cold to give it to me! Will return again for sure

This was one of the best meals I've had since my diagnosis. Or ever, really. I ordered one of the pizzas (all gluten-free), and the warmth of the waitress combined with the ambiance with this place and then the quality of the pizza (sooo delicious) made this an incredible experience. Their restaurant is largely gluten-free, and they were very familiar with celiac, so I felt amazingly safe here. I hope to come back to Milwaukee and eat here again :)

Fair majority of the whole menu is gluten free including all pizzas. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Only down side is they don't take reservations and have short funny hours. Because of this they get busy quickly so it can be a bit slow.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. It is a little slice of heaven in Riverwest. The decor is amazing and the gluten free foods are even better. Gf pasta (They use RPs fresh gluten free pasta out of Madison, WI), Gf garlic bread, gf pizza, risotto, the list goes on.... It is such a treat to eat here!!

I have to disagree with a previous poster's one star review for lack of reservations. They don't take reservations, except for maybe Mother's day? Centro is a small and POPULAR place, with no great space to wait. So, when there is a wait for a table, they suggest a couple local watering holes (Foundation and Company Brewing are each a block away) for your group to grab a drink and then they call when you're ready. This model is great because it supports local businesses and gives you something to do while you wait. It also keeps everyone from standing out in the cold! Often times our table has been ready quite a bit earlier than expected (I would way have a restaurant over estimate than underestimate) so sometimes you have to scramble back before you thought you would. So...of course it is going to take a few minutes for those people to come back for a table, but in my experience, the food is worth the wait. Go hang out at one of those places and then go enjoy your amazing gluten free meal at Centro. If you can't stand waiting, then I've usually had great luck going right at 5/5:30 on weeknights and have had no wait.

Really good selection of both gluten-free AND vegetarian/vegan options -- a rare combination. It's a little fancy; and the pizza, while it is GF, isn't that good.

Very very disappointed-false advertising. This restaurant states online that they do not take reservations and that they are first come first serve only, we went there and we're told that it would be a 1.5 hour wait and they had empty tables and were waiting for people who came in, put their name on a list and we're given time to come back when a table opened-sounds like a reservation to me. We were there, tables were empty and they would not seat us-lost revenue and very poor business model.

All of their pizzas are gluten free, the pepperoni was very good. They have New Grist and cider (the only cider option is a 750ml bottle).

One of the best meals I have had in a long, long time! Our server was incredibly helpful - she knew how everything was made. I can't have dairy or gluten and she adjusted the house special to accommodate my dietary needs. I had the first "caesar" salad (completely dairy-free) I've had in over seven years and it was delicious. I only wish I lived here so I could come back every week!
