I had pulpo ceviche and paella. Food was very good.
Kitchen was backed up 20 minutes so they weren’t seating. What’s the difference if we’re sitting comfortably (there were plenty of free tables) with our GF children as opposed to us waiting on the sidewalk. Ridiculous.
staff was knowledgeable and almost everything on the menu is Gluten Free
Staff knowledgeable and what they didn’t know they admitted they didn’t know, but did ask the chef. Plenty of choices.
Be careful if you have Celiac. Items on their GF menu are shared in the same oil, etc. with gluten items. You need to be careful and ask questions. Even their potato side dish is not GF even though they make it available as a GF menu item.
Great happy hour specials. Lots of great gluten free options.
Used my Nima and 2/3 of the items we ordered had gluten in them. They looked good...
Big GF menu. Great food and service.
Really yummy food, extensive gluten free menu, service was awesome, cool decor. Highly recommend eating here.
Tapas Tuesday was a great day to go to our favorite restaurant in St. Pete! Half price on many tapas - including the oxtail in red wine reduction. The quality of the food here is exceptional -yet reasonably priced- and it is safe for my Celiac wife. We've eaten here twice and there has been no gluten reaction. For those who know- that earns an A+.
Huge menu. Very knowledgable.
HUGE GF menu and excellent service! You can't go wrong here! Highly recommend!
Extensive GF menu. Delicious tapas, homemade sangria, interesting atmosphere in Spanish style building. We have eaten here many times and fully enjoyed ourselves with no negative health effects. Highly recommend!
Over 60 hot, cold, and vegetarian tapas that are listed on a separate gluten-free menu. A favorite for celebrating special occasions.--Live entertainment schedule--Downtown St. Petersburg landmark.
Love this place! Perfect for a romantic date night. There aren't GF indicators on the menu, however most of it is gluten free (except fried things or things served with bread mostly but just ask your server). They have a special on Tuesdays with certain discounted tapas.
This place was fabulous!! They have a separate gluten free menu and everything I tried was delicious. Their shrimp ceviche was super fresh, the fried eggplant was very flavorful, and the beef tenderloin was extremely tender. The waiter was attentive to my gluten allergy. There is the risk of cross contamination but we arrived shortly after opening, when it was pretty empty. The waiter said all gluten free requests are prepared fresh. Other food is prepped ahead of time so they can quickly serve patrons. I would return to this establishment.
They have a separate gluten free menu and they're great about making accommodations but when asked why certain dishes from the main menu weren't on the GF menu, the chef didn't know. The GF menu is also a really small compared to the regular menu. Otherwise it would have 5 stars!
Not good for especially sensitive folks, but it's got a ton of options (including vegetarian ones) if you aren't as concerned with cross-contamination. I'd never had a problem with getting things gluten free at the Ceviche in Sarasota, and I hadn't gotten sick in over a dozen visits to that location, or in a couple of visits to the one in St. Pete. A lot of the menu is naturally GF, so the staff don't have to deal with substitutions, which is always good. But the luck ran out this August at our first visit to Tampa. I talked with our server about it when we first got there and we ordered dishes we'd had before, but I got sick before we'd paid the bill. I'm guessing that there was an issue with cross-contamination. Were it not for the gluten issue, I would have given it 3-4 stars - the food was adequate, but a bit blah compared to the other locations. The patatas bravas were a bit bland and the papas fritas weren't crisp, but the tortilla espanola was fine. The building, however, is really amazing - definitely worth a visit for those who wouldn't have to deal with cross-contamination questions.
There are no gluten-free indicators on the menu, but my server was pretty knowledgeable about which tapas were safe for me to consume. I enjoyed the Pollo Ajillo, Vegetables a la Parilla, Patatas Bravas (delicious) & Solomillo a la Parilla (without the cream sauce which is not GF). I wish that there were GF indicators because the menu is extensive; but overall my server was knowledgeable and accommodating and I had a wonderful experience!
