Large menu with lots of GF options. Most items could be ordered. Menu has GF substitutions on it, though it can be a little confusing. GF is not entirely clearly marked. Server was very helpful in answering questions. Fryer has cross contamination so no fries for me. Ordered burger with GF bun and a cup of clam chowder (which was thick and delicious). They said all their soups were GF. Quick service and the best part is I didn't get sick.

Absolutely amazing place On our week trip to Oregon we ate here maybe 4 times. Tons of Gluten Free treats along with GF Clam Chowder. Their GF bread was almost as close to normal bread as you could get.
Fries are NOT in a separate friar, but everything else is top notch. 5 stars easy

Had GF fish and chips, GF clam chowder and GF carrot cake. Huge selection of GF baked goods — cakes, cheesecakes, cookies, scones. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. Not dedicated. Food is typical American fare, nothing fancy, solid.

So nice to have Gluten Free options, and delicious too, too rare of a combo. I understand the owners/managers have Celiac (in the immediate family) so they actually understand.

Given all the 5 star ratings I had high expectations for this place. But, my waitstaff wasn’t clear on what gluten was and it is not clearly marked on the menu what items are gluten free. I asked to speak to the manager who also could not help me identify what breakfast items would be gluten free and resulted in a series of packages being brought out for me to read ingredients. The manager assured me they cleaned the grill for my eggs and hash brown breakfast but said they frequently do not and he has to watch them do it.

I had crab eggs Benedict with hashbrowns. I brought my own English muffin which they toasted. I could have chosen gf bread instead. I also had a cup of their gf clam chowder! So delicious! They're gf chocolate cream pie is amazing! I had a slice but you'll want to buy a whole pie. The day before I stopped in to check out their selection. I bought a slice of carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. I found it dry & kind of hard. The brownie was ok (too cakey for me) but the frosting was over kill. The butterscotch peanut cookies were a bit dry. I'll definitely be back to try more items. They have several gf cheese cakes, scones & cookies. You must try their clam chowder & chocolate cream pie!

This is by far the best GF restaurant I've ever been to. So many GF options!! The owners have a family member with celiac. They serve breaded cod and clam chowder that are GF. The prices are so reasonable. Everything I tried was so delicious! It made my vacation. I will definitely eat here the next time I am in the area. They bake their own GF muffins, cookies and cheesecakes. I felt so loved!

The owners daughter has celiac and so they have an extensive separate menu guide. An absolutely amazing gf cheese cakes, pies, muffins all sorts of desserts in gluten-free. They cook them in a separate area and I even checked my usual test on the vanilla extract it is gluten-free. This is the best option I I have found on the Oregon coast so far outside of Maggies at Seaside.

We are here for breakfast at the end of our trip and I was absolutely delighted! The owners have celiac disease in their family and they have modified their processes to have a separate space for gluten free baking and food preparation. Most of the breakfast menu could be ordered GF. I couldn’t believe how many options were available. I didn’t have any reaction, so they are clearly doing a great job of limiting cross contamination. I’d probably eat here weekly if I lived in town. :)

We did a takeout order of mostly desserts: GF lemon pie, chocolate pie, fudgey frosted brownie, butterscotch PB cookie, and turtle cheesecake. All so good! (And several were wrapped and noted as GF, like the cookies and brownie).
Their website shows their full dessert menu and everything else that can also be done dessert GF (Marionberry and classic cheesecake, carrot cake, scones and muffins and a few other cookies).
Google reviews has pictures of their gf menu guide that shows how to modify their menu to make the breakfast, lunch, dinner items GF. They have gf pancakes, toast, sandwiches, burgers etc - but I ordered to go by phone so wasn’t able to confirm a picture of that guide. I did a grilled cheese (they use Udi’s gf bread) and confirmed they clean the grill etc for GF orders, and did not get glutened from any of the desserts or the grilled cheese!
Note: they do NOT have a gf fryer. I chose potato salad (was also offered fruit cottage cheese etc) as an alternative side.

Very good food! Really good omelette. They have gluten free pancakes. They had good flavor but were a bit tough. Polite service and many gluten free desert options. I didn't try any as I was too full from brunch. But they also had GF muffins, cookies, pies, cakes, toast...will be back!

They wipe down surfaces and take precaution very well.

Great little place with so many GF choices. Ask for their GF menu and it will give you all the swaps you can do from the main menu and which items on the main menu are GF. I had an awsome crab omlett (without the cheese since I also can't eat diary) it was so good with lots of fresh crab and then I had the GF pancakes instead of the regular pancakes it would normally come with. The GF pancakes were wonderful! Soft, tasty and it was so fun to get to go out to breakfast for a change and actually order pancakes!!! They also have several take home items from the Bakery display that are GF and reasonably priced compared to the natural foods store!
Yes
They have ALL the things! Check them out. So amazing. AND they make everything themselves!!
Wow! Gluten free pancakes are incredible!!! I would make the trip just for the pancakes! The scones are wonderful too. I didn't try anything else but I would imagine the quality is the same. This celiac says five stars!!!

Had breakfast there. They have a separate grill for the eggs and the gluten free pancakes were great. They also have a large selection of gluten free cookies and desserts available to buy for take out. The owner’s daughter is celiac so they are very knowledgeable.

Lots of GF selections, pancakes, toast & muffins. Lots of dessert selections that are GF.
We had cod but with salad since fryer is shared. Also, marionberry cheesecake which was so delicious we stopped to get a to go slice the next day.

Tons of gluten free options. We had gluten free cod fish and chips and the lemon sour cream pie. They were delicious!
My husband and I stopped In for desserts. The Chalet had more gluten free desserts on the menu than I have seen anywhere else. I had the gf butterscotch peanut butter cookies which were great and my husband had the gf chocolate cream pie which he devoured.
Excellent service. Very careful. I am also allergic to corn and they had a list that showed all allergy ingredients. They chatted with us and were so friendly. We loved it there!
Excellent waitress knew what was gluten free. I had soup with an Octoberfest brat on a gf bun. We shared gf cheese cake and bought a gf scone to go. Great food, great service, great prices.
I have celiac and felt very safe eating here. I got the panko crusted halibut. Btw that is pan fried and not deep fried so no worries with the fryer. I would have had the fries too but the server checked on the fryer for me and they had already fried something in it that day. So I got a very nice fruit plate instead with slices of peach, fresh blueberries, strawberries, plums, cantaloupe and honey dew melon. My boys had the gf pancakes with eggs and bacon and they were awesome! My oldest has bad reactions to gluten and no problems so far. I will be coming back here for sure.
