Review of Chalet Restaurant & Bakery

This place is not Celiac safe. Yes they will clean the grill if they are cooking for you, but it has been used for gluten at one point. I called before showing and they said it was Celiac safe until we got there and they only had GF cookies available. They may have GF options but we couldn't risk the cross contamination since my boyfriend gets really sick. Plus it's just a typical pie, basic brunch place by the looks of the menu. The waitress was very apologetic and sweet but we left. We drove a block down, just past Fred Meyer and happen to see a little grocery store called The Gluten Free Place. A God sent......
