Review of The Cheesecake Factory

875 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611

Review

Full disclosure: I had never eaten at a Cheesecake Factory before finding out I have celiac. This could fill a ten if you loved it before hand.

I knew there would likely be rampant cross contamination. The waiter also couldn’t answer any questions about gf protocols. My food did come out marked as gf which was something. However, it made me sick (not horrific- just cross contamination sick which for me means severe intestinal pain, hives, and that allergy feeling that makes you feel like you’ve been hit by a truck).

If you have celiac and have a choice- go to one of the other 500 restaurants around here. If your 7-year-old niece is giving you sad eyes because she wants to go here and it’s her special day in Chicago getting an American Girl doll and seeing her aunt, brace yourself for getting sick.
