I have celiac and I was met with an unfortunate experience when I was served a meal that was obviously not Gluten Free and when I inquired to the manager about it, he stared at me blankly, and had no idea what gluten was. Overall I have a bad experience and it is disappointing because on the menu all the ingredients are not listed. I think Chef Geoff’s has lots of room to improve, including way more training of all the staff on Allergan information.

June 2023. Chef Geoff's serves a Tuna Poke with a ponzu sauce. the menu labels the dish GF. The ponzu is prepared with standard soy sauce (wheat). I wouldn't believe it, if I didn't see it myself. The manager provided me a photo of the bottle when I requested confirmation the sauce was GF. The second or third ingredient is wheat. Need I say more? What's worse? They served this, after we had the server notify the kitchen the GF dish needed to be GF, for a celiac, For good measure. I saw the ticket, and it was indeed marked gluten free. Finally, the manager was unprepared to answer basic questions about their process for handling allergies, and mislabeled menu, or what gluten free even means. This is the only online review I have written, for any reason, in my lifetime.

There are a number of delicious gf items in the menu. My daughter goes to school in DC snd has Celiac Disease. The food is delicious and they take great care in. Lying the instance of Celiac Disease to assure no cross contamination. We’re so happy to have found a great CD safe option near her school. We highly recommend Chef Geoff’s😊

Really good GF burgers (turkey ones too). No fries...some yummy veggie choices. Almost felt like flip flops and t shirts was under dressed. Good food and yes.. maybe 3 dollar signs is more appropriate. Worth the drive!
