Wait staff had to keep asking manager about gluten free. Chips are in a shared fryer and not gluten free. They can sub corn tortillas for flour in most cases. GF menu available in PDF online, but no paper copies in the restaurant. Not celiac safe.

We talked to the manager when we walked in and asked him questions. He seemed very knowledgeable. Most fillings are gluten free. They can substitute corn tortillas for flour but if you want a burrito on a corn tortilla, ask to have it made on a separate, clean cutting board. The fryer is not gluten free for those sensitive or celiacs so no chips but the salsa is gluten free though spicy. He specifically mentioned the fajitas could be made gluten free so that's what I ordered. We saw him chat with the server so our server also seemed aware and told us to avoid the farmer's market enchiladas as the sauce is not gluten free and the filing has a little of the sauce in it.
I would only say this is celiac friendly if the manager on duty seems knowledgeable so before you order talk with the manager. The manager on the day we came said he would personally supervise it so I felt more comfortable.
Food is mediocre. Does not taste fresh. Will make separate gluten free chips but both GF and non-GF chips are drenched in oil and not crispy or thick.
Chevys has discontinued their gluten free menu due to the fact that they cannot guarantee that every restaurant is able to prevent cross-contamination.
Super disappointed with Chevys. The host and manager said they had an allergy menu and would bring it to me. It never arrived. I asked 4 times in total for it. I even tried looking for it on Chevys website and couldn’t find it so it probably didn’t exist. The server was rude and dismissive when I asked about gluten safe items. My salad was brought out incorrectly and I’m hoping they actually remade it so I don’t get sick. I won’t be going back.

Be careful! The server wasn’t aware that Chevy’s offers a GF menu. He had to ask the manager who took a bit to find the menu. I ordered the grill fish tacos and they were served with flour tortillas. The kitchen crew didn’t know what gluten free meant.

Walked in, asked about the gluten free menu. Manager confirmed that they do not have one. Just turned around a walked out at that point, very disappointing.

They have a separate gluten free menu! Although their regular menu appears to mostly only boast flour tortillas, they do offer corn tortillas and make many dishes gluten free! The waitress was so kind and helpful when I had to ask my million questions in our large group. The meal was delicious and I had no issues!
