I love their fries! Many of their sauces are gf. Salads are good and grilled nuggets are tasty. Glad to have a fast food place that has more to offer...with flavor...and doesn't make me sick.
The grilled chicken nuggets are okay but a good alternative and the waffles fries are yummy. One of the few fast food places I can eat without getting sick.
They have a dedicated fryer and understood what cross contamination was. I just got fries and I didn't get sick at all! The staff was a little busy and didn't seem very interested in assuring me it was safe, though. I'm not picky as long as you don't make me sick!
They don’t really understand gluten allergies at this location...they gave me breaded nuggets at the drive through tonight even though it also says “RED FLAG: GLUTEN ALLERGY”. I ate a few fries before realizing their mistake, now just hoping I don’t get sick from x-contamination in the bag. The one time I went before they stuck all my gf stuff in a bag with all the wheat things although they did correct it. They just don’t get it, it has to be their training. Go to the one at The District instead! They’re always great!
I’ve been a few times since it has opened and have never gotten sick. They keep the bun sealed in it’s package and the sandwich makings come in a separate plastic container. Their waffle fries are also made in a separate fryer. They warn of cross contamination but make every effort to avoid it
Chick Fil A has been my go to restaurant since my celiac disease diagnosis and this continues to be my go to. I love their grilled nuggets and their gluten free grilled chicken sandwiches. I always specify it is for a gluten allergy and ask them to change their gloves. Love this place.
This CFA is the only one we've had problems with. This particular staff does not know what gluten is. I ask them to red flag GRILLED nuggets and I'm given crispy nuggets with a red flag sticker. Even asking them to change their gloves does not mater. They continually fail to do so. And to "make up for their mistakes" they give me coupons for green chicken sandwiches. There are other CFAs in this area that I trust and will not be returning to this one.
I'm a very sensitive celiac and I didn't get sick here. We got the gluten free grilled chicken sandwhich and waffle fries. The bun came bagged separately and I checked on the sauces gf status as well. The honey mustard is safe. This is a great option if you're looking for fast food in a pinch that won't make you sick. The man taking my order was very understanding, and it was great to just walk into a place and feel "normal" again about ordering.
This is the only drive thru chain, I can feel safe eating from. Fries are safe and cooked in a dedicated fryer. Grilled nuggets are my go to, even though they don’t always taste the best. Watch out for sauces, they accidentally gave me one that contained gluten(even though I ordered honey mustard). They now have GF rolls for grilled chicken sandwich. I didn’t care for it. Though, I am grateful for a safe fast food restaurant.
The staff here at this branch is so helpful!! They are so polite and graciously cater to my needs. I have visited this restaurant countless times and this is what I order for a safe gluten free experience. (I always ask them to put a gluten allergen alert on my order) 8 piece grilled chicken nuggets / Chick-fil-A dipping sauce (I ask them to make them without marinade as the marinade contains gluten.) Waffle fries / ranch dipping sauce Ice cream in a dish They have made a mistake once on my order but they were so sorry and made me a whole new meal!
Went here with my family and really enjoyed myself. I love Chick-fil-A, and they were considerate of my and my family's needs. Went through all the work to make sure it had an allergen alert and made the grilled nuggets without marinade (which contains gluten). I enjoyed an 8 piece grilled chicken nugget (without marinade), a small waffle fry, and a dish of ice cream. What a treat!! My family and I were so happy and did not get sick at all from it.
I attempted to order food to dine in. My son has Celiac Diesease. We often choose Chick-fil-a so he can have a grilled chicken kids meal with no marinade. We ask that gloves be changed so there is no cross contamination. I was rudely snapped at for even requesting the grilled nuggets without marinade. I was told "we don't do that here ....it's impossible" I replied that we go to Phillipsburg all the time and they do it. She yelled "No" at me. I told them to cancel my order. I only wanted to feed my son who was hungry. He cannot have gluten as it is poison to a person with celiac. We left and went next door to Five Guys who were happy to accommodate my family. I am greatly disappointed that your restaurant would treat a family this way. I will be sure to share my experience with my local Celiac Support Group
I've always loved this place and now that I'm gf, I love it even more. They have gf buns that are individually wrapped to stop cross contamination and they cook their yummy fries in seperate oil than their chicken nuggets and prepare everything on seperate clean surfaces. They are very accommodating to food allergies. The only change I would make would be to heat up the buns just a touch so they weren't so crumbly but I can live with it. I feel perfectly safe eating here
Good for something fast and cheap, but I have gotten sick here. They have also gotten my order wrong in the drive-thru and given me fried nuggets instead of grilled, only to realize when I open the bag when I get home. (my mistake for not checking, but still)
everything is deep fried, there's cross contamination in everything. best to stay far away.
The fries are always fried by themselves. The grilled nuggets and grilled fillet are fine to eat. They have a new gluten free bun. It’s ok. Honestly, it would be better if the chicken fillet was bigger than the bun. I’ve never been sick here though. Definitely safe for celiacs.
I love Chick-fil-A, but this chain is really bad! They don't cater at all to gluten free requests. I've asked politely to have the chicken made without marinade and they refused. The managers always make me feel terrible that I'm even asking. Not your typical Chick-fil-A politeness and customer service. It has gotten to a point that I don't even go anymore because I can't eat anything there. I have even been forced to call the corporate office of Chick-fil-A after my experiences here. The restaurant is not very clean either. I wish that I could give this restaurant a positive review because I LOVE Chick-fil-A. But you'll want to shy away from this branch of you are gluten intolerant. (And don't go at all if you are celiac.) Go to Cullman AL if you want the great Chick-fil-A customer service typical to their restaurant. They are wonderful when it comes to helping me have a great dining experience!
When we went to order takeout, our cashier was extremely knowledgable and explained everything to us, especially how the gf chicken sandwich is prepared. When we got home- we realized everything we ordered was prepared as regular instead of gf, even after our lengthy conversation with the cashier about the gluten free preparation :(
I went there on Saturday and used my Nima sensor which said the food was safe and I had no reactions. Today I went back and went through the same process, but my Nima showed it wasn’t safe. The gentleman taking the order was unsure so I made sure to test and I’m happy I did.
