I'm a newly diagnosed celiac, and this was my first time eating out. I selected Chili's because it has a gluten free menu available online. I was pleasantly surprised at how much they offered. They also clearly indicated which items were cooked on surfaces where food could come into contact with gluten, and they even included which salad dressings were gluten free. We sat at the bar. When I asked the bar tender if their margaritas were gluten free, he knew what I was talking about. He didn't know for sure but thought the sweet and sour mix might have gluten. He was very patient as I figured out my order, and made a note for the cook to be careful. I felt safe eating the ribs, but it's so early in my diagnosis, I'm not sure if I would have symptoms if cross contaminated. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because they don't provide information on their drinks.

Update January 2022: I ordered take out steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. No symptoms! And I now know when I've been glutened. Also, heard back from corporate, and their presidente margaritas are gluten free! I'll be checking those out soon and will update if my experience says otherwise.

Update September 2022: I have eaten here at least 7-8 times now and have had a positive experience every time, including several times with takeout. I generally get the ribs or steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli or a salad. Still never been glutened.
