I’m celiac and I work there. From personal experience at this location, there are a few gluten free options. Please let your server know if you have an allergy, since I’ve started working there the FOH and HOH have improved their ways to help decrease the possibility for cross contamination. For example marking the dish as ALLERGIC in the POS, informing cooks about the allergy, changing gloves, grabbing fresh ingredients from the back for items in shared spaces, changing out utensils, changing gloves to assemble the dish on the QA line. I could never guarantee someone with a food allergy will have a truly gluten free experience. But the staff is really trying to understand what celiacs disease is.

As far as food options the following have been safe for me to eat (have eaten)

Sides: Street Corn, Corn on the cob (w/out butter), broccoli, black beans, mandarin oranges, mashed potatoes

Appetizers: salsa, guacamole, ranch. I wouldn’t recommend getting the chips because there are only shared fryers, but seriously nobody would blame you for bringing your own bag if you have a good allergy.

Main Course: 6 oz 10 oz and Ribeye Steaks, burgers without buns (no lettuce wrap but there’s shredded lettuce) and Ribs. *the grill is a dedicated work station, there are no gluten containing ingredients that go on the grill top that I’m aware of* I personally have not tried the fajita chicken/steak/shrimp because I’m wary about the marinade ingredients. Tacos can be done gluten free with corn tortillas and modifying how shrimp are prepared. If you get corn tortillas for anything tell your server to not put the tortillas on the press because it’s a shared press with flour tortillas or ask if they can be wrapped in foil before being pressed. I wouldn’t recommend ANY salad because because of cross contamination.

Drinks: full bar so there’s Tito’s!! Also the presidente margarita is gluten free but please tell your bartender! I will give an alcohol update when I know more. 🙂

To anyone who is celiac/gluten sensitive trying to eat out at Chili’s St. George I hope this helps!
