Symptomatic Celiac

After having several great GF dining restaurant experiences in Park city, this was the one restaurant that I got sick from. I think this would be a great restaurant for typical diners and a gamble for celiacs.

The menu is not labeled GF, no GF fryer, the waiter was quite knowledgeable and verbally told me 90% of the items were GF. We ordered queso fundido and the runner served it with flour tortillas, the waiter caught it the same time I did and took it away, replacing it with a newly made GF order. The chips seemed like grocery quality GF frito lay tostada type chips, but the cheese was delicious. I had fish fajitas which were also delicious. My typical eating husband enjoyed his meal and cocktails. I was sick all night. Won’t be risking it again.

Almost everything on the menu can be modified to be gluten free. I had the hanger steak which was cooked perfectly and was delicious. They also brought me chips fried separately.

The entire staff was very helpful. They were well aware of the difference between celiac and gluten free by choice. They said they can make almost all items celiac friendly. I had the duck enchiladas- wonderful. Example,Since I couldn’t have the bread, the server brought me some GF tortilla chips so I could eat some of the GF “oil” that comes with the bread. All the other service was at that level. A great meal.

Staff was good with checking on available options with the chef. Most items on menu were either gluten free already or could be modified. Food was great and no side affects for sensitive celiac.
