Went here because it was one of the few places open on a Monday after 8 pm. Waitress was wonderful and view of the harbor was great. However, the food was definitely frozen and reheated. We got the crab cake meal (not GF), crab clusters (GF), and halibut fish and chips (not GF). Food came out extremely quickly, but it was very bland. The rice and green beans served as sides had zero seasoning plus the rice was overcooked. My crab bodies were almost frozen still but the legs were warm. I have celiac disease and the waitress knew right off the bat what gluten free options were available for me. I felt very comfortable eating because she was so knowledgeable. I would rate the waitress’s service really highly, but I wouldn’t go to this place if there were other options available because the food was expensive for poor quality.

Had a salmon, basmati rice and broccoli, was excellent! Would go back, I had no reaction.

Excellent food! Excellent location! Ordered gluten free as that I'm a VERY sensitive celiac, but after a long day on the ocean couldn't wait to get back to the lodge to eat. I thought that for the location the food was priced right how it should be.

Extremely limited gf options. Host was pleasant and recommended a few other places that have more options. The only thing he said he thought could be gf was a burger with no bun or fries (shared fryer) so we chose to go elsewhere.
They had 4 GF options marked on menu. 2 of them had to have a good portion of the ingredients removed to make them GF. When questioned about CC issues, the waiter responded " I'll hit the GF button, it'll be fine." Fish was salty, quinoa had nothing on it, asparagus was good. Too much money to be this disappointed. Celiac friendly? IDK, maybe. I didn't get sick, that's the nicest thing I can say about them.
Chinooks Restaurant accommodates a gluten-free diet by noting "GF" next to food items on the menu. Most menu items are gluten-free or can be made gluten-free as fish is not fried. All of the fish served at Chinooks Restaurant is local to Seward. The staff is very knowledgable about accommodating Celiac Disease, and the food is very tasty!
Amazing food. Gluten free items listed with a GF right on the menu. Unfortunately they don't have dairy free potatoes or yams. Place does not serve baked potatoes.
