I’ve gotten sick a couple times here, but I’m a super sensitive Celiac.
No
My sister told them that she has celiacs disease and once they realized she was talking about gluten they kicked it into high gear, they changed gloves, wiped down the counter, changed utensils, and took the cheese from a fresh container without being asked.
BEST CHIPOTLE EVER!

She changed her gloves without me even asking. She also got fresh cheese because it could be touched by the gloves. Pretty awesome!

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
I am newly gluten free and have been nervous to eat out anywhere. I had a graft experience at Chipotle though. I asked the first guy if he could change his gloves. He asked me if I was gluten free and I told him yes. He changed out all the spoons and tongs (for what I said I would be getting) and they wiped the prep area down. They did this very fast too. The food was great and I didn't feel sick after either! 5 stars for Chipotle!

I just have to give big kuddos to this Clackamas location with incredible service to my GF demands. Staff was so amazingly understanding and friendly and absolutely didn't mind. loved the food and service.
I love this place. you can even order online and pick it up and skip their line. just order in advance. Never have been sick either.
My go to "fast food" ish restaurant. They don't seem to mine when I ask them to use fresh gloves. I've eaten there a lot and have never been glutened
Yes
really good tacos and cheaper than expected. kind of confusing if youve never been there before. everything is gf unless you order wheat tacos.
I appreciate their variety of gluten free options. My daughter complains about the beans being spicy but she’s just a picky eater overall. She does enjoy the rice, queso, chicken, chips, etc. I like that I can get her a full kids meal here.

A manger is celiac and makes an effort however there is a lot of cross contamination and any type of veggie will have gluten contamination because the quesadillas are cut on the same cutting boards all veggies are cut on with minimal sanitizing and no discretion of which one is veggies only

Yikes. I've seen some Chipotle's that are fairly safe but today was not it. The server knew what cross contamination was, and she changed gloves, washed her hands, wiped down the counter, but while she was wiping everything down crumbs were falling back into the bins, and I was watching them serve before hand and the ladles would brush right against the tortillas before going back into the containers. It was probably right after the rush too. Didn't even bother ordering because I knew I'd be sick.
