My wife is celiac, I am not. We stopped there today for lunch. Neither of us had ever been to a Chipotle before. Pretty disappointed overall. The food in their “warming” trays looked neither fresh nor appetizing. Our dishes were both cold. The server did have gloves on, but, he handled my wife’s food after making my burrito and did not change gloves. She did notice this and was a bit nervous because she’s a sensitive celiac. Thankfully she did not get sick. On to the dining area: Literally every table needed cleaning! The soft drink dispenser was out of service. The self serve area for napkins, sauces etc was dirty with and appeared in disarray. Bathroom garbage was overflowing onto floor and the floor was wet around the toilet. We definitely will have a little tolerance for some things being less than perfect, especially at a fast food place… but wowzers, this place was flat out crappy at every level. If workers in places like this have an expectation of $15 minimum wage they really need to take some pride in their work. Thanks to this place, this was definitely both my first and last visit to any Chipotle’s. Both thumbs DOWN… Moe’s is way better IMHO.

The employee instantly washed her hands and changed gloves after I mentioned my allergy. The manager came over instantly to supervise. Several ingredients were acquired from uncontaminated containers in the back. This was the most consciencious chipotle I have eaten at

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
I think that everything on their menu is gluten free except the burrito flour tortilla the rice bowls are delicious
When I informed my server of my celiac disease, he removed his gloves and threw them out, then spent at least 2-3 minutes washing and sanitizing his hands. He put on a brand new pair of gloves and then asked for my order.

Very impressed with the caution they used with cross contamination. Have always loved their food, but now being GF I am always so happy to find favorite restaurants that I can still enjoy!

As soon as you order and say you have a gluten allergy they change their gloves. Also they will take certain ingredients from the fridge. Almost everything is GF besides the flour tortillas.
awesome place. I would recommend this place. Never gotten sick and I get sick at most restaurant bc I have Celiac.

Great food! and the staff is well trained. As soon as I said allergy they cleaned the work surfaces, changed their gloves and gave me a card with their menu showing any allergens they contained. Everything there is gluten free except the flour tortillas.
Best GF fast food experience so far. They didn’t make me feel weird or like I took too much time. I told them I have a gluten allergy and the line stopped. They changed spoons for what I ordered, wiped down the counter, got out fresh cheese and lettuce, changed gloves, and one person took charge of my order seeing it through to the end of the line. I know there’s still a risk, but I’m thankful for all they did to help me eat with my family.

I was a little concerned when I read it had been two years since the last review, but I went and as soon as I told the server I had celiac, she immediately offered to wipe down the surfaces and change gloves. She did it so cheerfully also!

Lots of gluten free options, good choice for catering, and ability to sort through gluten free options by using their dietary filter online. There are good options available if you're dairy free/vegan as well!

While there’s obviously a chance of cross contamination, the workers here are very nice and accommodating. Everything except for the tortillas is gluten free. I always ask them to change their gloves and this past time a worker felt her glove touch the tortillas after changing them so she immediately changed them again! They never have a problem getting lettuce or cheese from the back which I appreciate! I have not had a reaction here yet and I am very sensitive!

I told the server I was gluten sensitive, and she immediately changed gloves and handled all my food herself.
