Read chipotle.com/allergens for up to date GF items. Great option for work luncheons. Alway get a rice bowl never had a reaction. I’m a very sensitive Celiac and have a dairy allergy.

Most options are gluten free including sauces. Chips are made from corn. Can get corn tortilla instead of flour. Food is fresh and tasty.

Notes

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.

From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."

I love Chipotle. There's only one item that they serve that contains gluten. And only one item that contains Dairy. The soft tortillas at the very beginning of the line are the only wheat item. So if you get a burrito bowl instead of a tortilla at the beginning and let them know there's an allergy, they will change their gloves and the rest of the line is good. For dairy-free, just popped out on the cheese! We have never gotten sick at Chipotle, at any location.

Went here hoping to grab something safe before getting on Amtrak. Their seemed to be a language barrier regarding “gluten allergy” (yes, I know celiac is autoimmune, but gluten allergy seems to get more attention in restaurants). I tried explaining the protocol as I have been to many chipotles before. She got the manager. The manager handed me an allergy card, changed her gloves, and then refused to get fresh food containers even after explaining to her that it was contaminated by the tortillas. She said “that’s too bad” and put away my burrito bowl container and then said goodbye. I went across the way to Cava where I had no problems. Unfortunately, this Chipotle is not safe like I’ve known every other Chipotle in the US to be.

As soon as I mentioned the word “allergy”, the server threw away the bowl she had touched, took off her gloves, washed and sanitized her hands, and put on fresh gloves. She asked what I wanted in the bowl, and I asked if she had fresh containers she could pull from, and she immediately said, “Oh yes!! I’ll get yours from the back, not from here. I just need to know what you want.” She did everything to prepare my bowl and didn’t let anyone else touch it. Excellent service!!
