This is true of all Chipotle restaurants. Staff is very accommodating to do what you ask in terms of washing hands, changing out food bins, etc. but their training is lacking.
Specifically, their food prep area is small, so they usually droop flour tortillas in the line of bins closest to the prep area. I have mentioned this multiple times a a Chipotle in New Mexico, and they haven’t improved their practices/awareness, so I think training needs to be changed at a corporate level.
That being said, I have never had an exposure if I have them wash, change out spoons, and use uncontaminated bins.

It’s like all of the other Chipotles out there. We had one experience when the people weren’t very accommodating but we still got what we ordered. Ask a lot of questions before getting food and they will try their best.
I’ve tried chipotle twice using the allergen guide and have gotten horribly sick both times. I am very careful and try to order safely. I’m glad others are not getting sick but I do not recommend gambling here.
No
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."

They will even change the spoons before serving you. Wonderfully safe!!

Delicious food and I love how careful they are when you ask for gluten free. New gloves and fresh containers of cheese and lettuce. YUM!
The best and so easy for eating gluten free cause it's only the tortillas to avoid!
EXCELLENT all around! Its easy for my hubby to order for me here, since its only the tortillas I must avoid, and i love having good reliable good.
Best GF fast food experience so far. They didn’t make me feel weird or like I took too much time. I told them I have a gluten allergy and the line stopped. They changed spoons for what I ordered, wiped down the counter, got out fresh cheese and lettuce, changed gloves, and one person took charge of my order seeing it through to the end of the line. I know there’s still a risk, but I’m thankful for all they did to help me eat with my family.

I was a little concerned when I read it had been two years since the last review, but I went and as soon as I told the server I had celiac, she immediately offered to wipe down the surfaces and change gloves. She did it so cheerfully also!

Lots of gluten free options, good choice for catering, and ability to sort through gluten free options by using their dietary filter online. There are good options available if you're dairy free/vegan as well!

While there’s obviously a chance of cross contamination, the workers here are very nice and accommodating. Everything except for the tortillas is gluten free. I always ask them to change their gloves and this past time a worker felt her glove touch the tortillas after changing them so she immediately changed them again! They never have a problem getting lettuce or cheese from the back which I appreciate! I have not had a reaction here yet and I am very sensitive!

I told the server I was gluten sensitive, and she immediately changed gloves and handled all my food herself.
