Staff are more than happy to wash hands and change gloves, still risk of cross-contamination of items given they are right next to each other but decent offering

this chipotle is great for celiacs! they are always so nice and understanding, they willingly volunteer to get new lettuce and cheese for my bowl that haven’t been contaminated

Notes

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.

From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."

Not particularly gf sensitive or trained. The first server changed gloves but the rest of the line did not. Nor did they switch out the serving spoons

They actually know how to handle gluten free.

Great experience. I told the server I had celiac disease and asked her to change her gloves. She knew what celiac and asked me if I’d like her to wipe down the counter and change all of the utensils—greatly appreciated! Definitely recommend this location

We actually did not even stay to eat. When we walked in and asked about gluten free, the worker didn't even know what gluten was and had no idea about any precautions or anything else. Yikes! I will assume that nothing is safe to eat there since they do not even take the time to train their staff about food sensitivities and allergies.

There was this guy who rubbed the tortillas constantly and the guy in the back was cleaning the kitchen at the same time as cooking the food, spraying chemicals next to the stove.

Didn’t see anyone change gloves.

I would avoid here if you got celiacs.

Cross contamination got me even though I wrote on order that I had celiacs AND called to make sure they saw it. Not sure what was done to prevent but from my reaction, worst ever, they didn’t do anything.

Chipotle is always a pretty safe chain option. I usually get a veggie bowl
